Autism usually occurs in infancy and is more common in boys than in girls, and is a neurodevelopmental disorder whose cause is still unclear and may be the result of a combination of genetic and environmental factors. At present, there is no precise means of prevention, only early scientific intervention, which plays a certain role in improving children's cognitive level, language expression ability, social adaptability and social skills.
The city implements the "Tianjin Women's and Children's Health Improvement Plan (2021-2030)", and includes the screening and diagnosis project for autism in children aged 0-6 years old into the government's project for the benefit of the people, and into the 20 people's heart projects of the municipal government in 2021 and 2022, and children at the age of 3, 6, 8, 18, 30 months old and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 years old can go to the community health service center and the child health department of the township health center to receive autism screening. Children suspected of autism should be re-screened at maternal and child health care institutions in the jurisdiction, and children who "failed" to be re-screened should be referred to any hospital of the Municipal Children's Hospital, the Municipal Women's and Children's Center, and the Municipal Anding Hospital for diagnosis, and the confirmed children with autism should be treated and rehabilitated.
In recent years, the detection rate of autism in children in our city is 5-8 ‰, showing an upward trend, which should attract the attention of parents. Some children with autism exhibit different traits early on. Like what:

The 12-month-old call for a name is ignored and does not mimic an adult waving a "goodbye" or clapping their hands to indicate "welcome."

2 years old can not say the names of 3 everyday familiar items.
2 and a half years old can't say 2-3 words, such as drinking water, hanging out. Single stereotypes of interest, such as playing with one or two objects for a long time or repeating the same action. When you have to defecate during the day, you don't ask for help with movement or language.
3-year-olds can't say their own names, and can't play imaginary games such as "riding with a stick as a horse" and "feeding dolls with injections".
If parents find that the child is suspected of having the above manifestations at the corresponding age, they may take the initiative to contact the community health service center and the township health center within their jurisdiction for screening and consultation.
