On April 2 this year, the 15th World Autism Day, the Mediation Committee of the Internet Society of China and 43 institutions, including the Chinese Psychological Association, issued the "Proposal on the Assistance Mechanism for Autistic Families Not To Be Lonely", which gathers social strength, focuses on autistic groups to provide services, and promotes the construction of a sustainable social security mechanism.
The proposal calls on all sectors of society to "not discriminate and do not pay attention" to adolescents with autism and their families, to get along with a normal heart; to provide financial support and professional counseling to special educational institutions, non-profit organizations and autistic families through charity sales and charity purchases; to provide display and circulation channels for handmade products and works for adolescents with autism by relying on communities, parks and Internet spaces to expand their radius of life; at the same time, to explore the channels for adolescents with autism to enter general schools and employment support.
Adolescents with autism are known as "children of the stars", who look close but are far away, and they are alone and immersed in their own world. According to the "Report on the Development of Autistic Children in China", the number of autistic patients in the mainland may exceed 10 million. According to a survey released by Peking University in 2021, the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder in children aged 6-12 years in mainland China has reached 0.7%.
On the day of the launch of the initiative, the two public welfare corners were unveiled first in Beijing Jiuyue Culture and Sports Culture and Art Park and the Youth Exchange Rate of Wanxianghui Community in Haidian District, which will take the community as the center and unite more social institutions and Internet platforms to explore the online and offline closed-loop public welfare model to provide encouragement and help for autistic families.

1. Gather the strength of all sectors of society, extend the hand of friendship, respect, accept and care for autistic teenagers, and warm the hearts of every star! Improve society's awareness and understanding of autism knowledge, and accept and feel the bright starlight!
2. The "Bright Spot Light" allows autistic families not to be alone in the assistance action. At the same time, relying on residential communities, industrial parks and Internet spaces, it aims to provide display and circulation channels for handmade products and works of autistic adolescents through charity sales, free purchases, etc., to expand their living radius, help them become self-reliant and self-reliant, and gradually explore and establish a normalized public welfare operation mechanism.
3. Call on all sectors of society to "not discriminate and do not pay attention" to adolescents with autism and their parents, look at specific groups and families around them with a normal mindset, and give them help and encouragement within their ability when they encounter difficulties. A small encouragement is a great comfort for a particular group and family.
4. Explore the channel for adolescents with autism to enter the general school, discuss and initially establish the relevant training system, training standards and employment qualification standards for shadow teachers and nurses, and promote more shadow teachers to enter the general school.
5. Establish an employment support mechanism for adolescents with autism, and call on more enterprises to provide internship and practice opportunities for adolescents with autism. Explore the appropriate positions and resources for the employment of adolescents with autism, realize the value of life, and create social value.
