When Tao Tao was four years old, Ms. Pan's family went to Wuyi Mountain to play, and not long after taking a bamboo row and returning to the hotel, Tao Tao, who had never learned to draw, casually used a black water pen to draw the scene of their bamboo row ride on paper. A few lines, but a vivid charm. This surprised Ms. Pan, and her mind came alive: maybe the child has some talent in drawing. For more than a decade, the stick figure has also been kept in Ms. Pan's purse.
After Tao Tao grew up, Ms. Pan invited college students to teach him to draw one-on-one at home, and over the years, he invited seven or eight teachers back and forth, and Tao Tao also followed the teachers to learn different styles of painting methods. "Xing'er" learning to paint is not an easy task, Tao Tao is often immersed in his own world, can not understand the "shadow" and "three-dimensional structure" and other painting concepts, and can not communicate with the teacher through words. Fortunately, Tao Tao was quickly literate, and the teacher changed his teaching method and instructed him to copy different paintings through words. Tao Tao gradually found pleasure in painting, sometimes sitting in front of the drawing board for two or three hours, his skills improved visibly, and his life became more fulfilling. His paintings are powerful, the colors are bright and rich, and Ms. Pan's greatest pleasure is to record her son's works with photos and watch her son change and grow day by day. Through his paintings, I seem to see the inner world of children. Every life has its own meaning, and what we have to do is to give more patience and guidance and wait for the flowers to blossom. "Xing'er" aspires to create the value of life
Li Wenxi, a 20-year-old student at Xiamen Nanyang Vocational College, also has a special status - the badminton champion of the National Special Olympics.
Since Wenxi was a child, his mother has been full-time with him and took him to try to learn many interest classes. Under the cultivation of his mother, Wenxi has practiced brushes, played taekwondo, and in recent years learned guitar. Driven and influenced by his parents, Wen Xi became interested in sports, and his parents fully supported him, asking for coaches and applying for training courses for him, hoping that he could exercise his physical fitness and enhance his self-confidence. He learned many middle swimming, basketball, badminton sports, of which badminton became his best "partner". In his spare time, Wen Xi likes to watch online badminton game videos, and also joins the club's WeChat group, "solitaire" meets with golfers to play, and comes to the fore in some badminton activities in Xiamen. In 2019, the 17-year-old Wenxi participated in the 10th National Paralympic Games and the 7th Special Olympics, and in his first national competition, he won the Special Olympics badminton event 16-21A men's singles championship and the 16-21A men's doubles runner-up.
In addition to sports, Wenxi's extracurricular life is also colorful. "Children will one day integrate into society, and we parents must learn to let go." Under the guidance of Wenxi's mother, Wenxi often uses the vacation time to participate in social practice, he has worked as a primary school assistant, a library intern administrator, a volunteer of "Love House", and a summer vacation job in KFC, McDonald's, China Mobile and other enterprises. Wenxi, who loves cars, also set himself a goal - to save money to buy a car. To this end, he has a strong willingness to work, using the holiday as a takeaway, sometimes a day can run a dozen orders, from registration, interview to induction, are his own online groping.
"Through exercise and training, autistic children can actually do some jobs when they grow up, using their traits, putting them in the right positions, and maybe even doing better than the average person." Wenxi's mother said that the child has grown up now, and she also has the awareness and desire to be self-reliant and self-reliant, and she also hopes that the society will give more tolerance and support, give more employment opportunities, and let the "children from the stars" have the opportunity to struggle and create life value through their own hands.
