18 designated hospitals have set up special areas to treat related patients in a closed loop
CCTV News reported on January 15 that in order to do a good job in the medical protection of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Beijing Health Commission arranged for 18 designated hospitals to set up special areas for the winter Olympics to admit and treat patients within the closed loop of the Winter Olympics. At present, the Winter Olympic zones of these hospitals are already in place to operate.
In addition to the Special Areas for the Winter Olympics of 18 designated hospitals, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission has also arranged 17 hospitals as winter Olympic venue support hospitals, set up 88 medical stations and 74 ambulances in the venues, including 54 negative pressure ambulances, and selected 1300 medical backbones to participate in the medical security of the venues. Two comprehensive clinics were built in Beijing Winter Olympic Village and Yanqing Winter Olympic Village, and 18 departments were set up to meet the needs of basic outpatient clinics and 24 hours a day during the game. The Winter Olympic Organizing Committee has set up sampling points in the Olympic Village, contracted hotels, centralized stations and some venues, and personnel in the closed loop are required to undergo daily throat swab tests. At present, the nucleic acid testing laboratory in Zhangjiakou Division has begun to operate, and the entire laboratory is composed of five square cabins, which are divided into four areas: reagent preparation area, dispensing transfer room, automatic extraction room and pathogen amplification room.
According to the relevant person in charge, the Hebei Provincial Health Commission mobilized 300 medical personnel in various cities in the province to zhangjiakou division, and the laboratory was equipped with 34 sets of automatic nucleic acid extraction instruments, 60 sets of nucleic acid amplification instruments and other support equipment. Among them, the automatic nucleic acid extraction instrument can extract 32 samples in 9 minutes, 96 samples in 12 minutes, and the detection limit of amplification reagent is as low as 200 copies/mL, which can fully ensure the detection efficiency and accuracy of nucleic acid detection. Laboratory nucleic acid test throughput can reach up to 50,000 copies in a single day.
