Three Jin Dynasty History: The Unexpected Discovery of a Tomb Robber Makes Historians Call "Hot Eyes"

The state of Wei, one of the Three Jin Dynasties, started from Anyi (安邑, in present-day Xia County, Shanxi) and later moved its capital to Daliang (present-day Kaifeng, Henan), and the tomb of the King of Wei was thus built in Henan. Until the Western Jin Dynasty, a tomb robbery case occurred in Ji County, Henan Province, and some tomb robbers secretly excavated the tomb of King Xiang of Wei during the Warring States period and accidentally discovered the history book of the State of Wei - "Bamboo Book Chronicle".

Bamboo Book Chronicle

The Bamboo Book Chronicle is not only a history of the State of Wei during the Warring States period, but also the only surviving chronicle of ancient China that has not been written by Qin Huo. It consists of thirteen chapters, describing the history of xia, shang, western Zhou, and spring and autumn warring states, arranged in chronological order until the twentieth year of King Xiang of Wei.

Because the "Bamboo Book Chronicle" evaded Qin Shi Huang's "book burning pit Confucianism" and Emperor Wu of Han's "deposing hundreds of families and respecting Confucianism alone", some of the historical materials recorded in it are hugely different from the history books such as "Spring and Autumn" and "Historical Records" written by Confucianism. Therefore, after its discovery, it immediately caused an uproar in the field of historiography.

History of spicy eyes

For example, the story of Yao Shun Chan Rang in the Confucian history books has been passed down as a beautiful talk for thousands of years, while the Bamboo Book Chronicle tells another version of "Yao Shun Chan Rang": when Yao Shun was old, Shun imprisoned Yao and seized his throne, preventing their father and son from meeting. For example, in the Confucian history books, the touching story of the exile of the monarch Taijia by the chancellor Yi Yin during the Shang Tang Dynasty, but it is recorded in the "Bamboo Book Chronicle": Yi Yin exiled Taijia and became king, only to be absconded by Taijia and killed.

"Yao Shun Zen Jean" is fake! The "Yi Yin thing" is also fake! Because of this, once the Bamboo Book Chronicle was unearthed, historians directly called "hot eyes", and many people began to doubt the historical books written by Confucianism.
