Lacquer painting is an old and young art genre, deeply rooted in the fertile soil of China's 8,000 years of lacquer art and often undefeated. The history of the development of Chinese lacquer painting can be traced back to the decorative patterns of lacquerware thousands of years ago. Modern lacquer painting is born from the lacquer painting on ancient lacquerware, under the thousands of hardships of countless lacquer artists, in the collision and fusion of black and red, after a breakthrough in artistic concepts and the transformation of artistic language, modern lacquer painting has got rid of the shackles of arts and crafts, and the traditional lacquerware decoration process has gradually transformed into a modern painting language, becoming a new art form that expresses real life, reflects the spiritual world and expresses modern concepts.

Chen Jinhua himself is a powerful painter, and unlike other painters who take a single creative route, he has multiple social identities, and he is not just a fictitious title, but needs substantive operations - from teaching to academic research, to organizing and planning many activities in the art world (especially in the field of lacquer painting), there is no place that can be virtual and conjured. It turns out that he did a great job in every one of them. So busy, he was able to maintain a good creative state, constantly explore new techniques, find new painting languages, and prove with a deep foundation and a new look: as a painter who has gained a very high reputation in society, he did not revel in the joy of success, and still went all out to climb a new high point in the art world.
