When it comes to Chinese modern and contemporary painting, He Duoling is a name that cannot be avoided. Since the 1980s, he has been regarded as one of the most high-level and unique realist painters in China. When contemporaries flocked to the grand wave of heavy "scars" of regurgitation, he was always fascinated by the most beautiful personal narrative, and happily enjoyed the lone flight to the void poetry.

When I write, I imagine myself as a poet or composer, subtly embodying some of the feedback I see from the world in a poetic and musical language of painting. I want to leave more room for people who see the paintings to think about, and also leave some space for themselves. I often hear some viewers interpret it, but in fact, his interpretation is very literary or realistic.
