January 10 news, as early as 2017, Tesla released a pure electric truck Semi, but has never opened delivery. A few days ago, it was reported that Tesla is expected to open the first batch of deliveries this month, and the delivery of a total of 15 vehicles, delivered by PepsiCo.

It is reported that in order to meet these pure electric semi-trailer trucks, Tesla has installed multiple Megachargers charging piles in Pepsi's factory in California, which provide up to 1.5 megawatts of output power to replenish semi's huge battery pack.
The Tesla Semi pure electric semi-trailer offers a maximum load capacity of about 35.29 tons, for which the vehicle is equipped with a huge battery pack. To ensure safety and a lower center of gravity, Tesla has placed Semi's dedicated battery pack and four-wheel independent motor in the rear of the front.
The interior part, the Semi, is also different from the layout of the drive truck, with a single driving position set in the center of the cab, and two large screens on each side to replace the traditional instrument panel and rearview mirrors. At the same time, the two screens also support a series of functions such as driving data recording, remote monitoring, etc., in addition, can also provide leisure and entertainment services for drivers.
Last year, PepsiCo posted that Tesla would deliver 15 Semi trucks to it, while in November last year, Tesla said that semi trucks would be delayed until after 2022 due to battery strains. However, the latest information shows that the trucks are expected to be delivered by the end of January.
