Beijing, January 10 (Xinhua) -- "Han Mo Song China Dance and Color Celebration winter Olympics - the first Chinese sports art works exhibition" was officially opened in Beijing Winter Olympic Village on the 10th. The exhibition exhibits a total of 100 works of art created with the theme of "Olympic Culture, Olympic City Culture, and Traditional Chinese Culture", integrating the Olympic spirit of "faster, higher, stronger and more united" into a piece of art with Chinese characteristics, waiting for visitors from all over the world.
Initiated and hosted by the China Collectors Association, the exhibition has received strong support from Beijing Winter Olympic Village, China Academy of Arts, Beijing International Olympic Academy, China Sports Journalists Association, Organizing Committee of China Ice and Snow Conference, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, Li Keyan Painting Institute and other institutions. Since its launch in November 2021, the collection of works has received great attention in the art circles at home and abroad, and more than 300 works of Chinese painting and calligraphy created by more than 200 Chinese artists have been received.

"Athletes are the center of the Olympic Games, they live here, and the exhibition of calligraphy and painting is placed in the Winter Olympic Village, which is placed in the center of the stage, which is of great significance to the dissemination of traditional Chinese culture and art." At the same time, he also believes that the exhibitors are all famous artists and everyone, whether calligraphy or painting works have deep artistic attainments, but also closely follow the theme of the Winter Olympics, with traditional calligraphy and painting to build a bridge between the East and the West, China and the world culture communication bridge.
Han Ziyong, president of the China Academy of Arts, made a special preface to the exhibition, saying that since ancient times, sports and art have accompanied each other, the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai recited the pride of "one shot and two tigers to wear" and "turn the back to fall on the double kite", the poet Saint Du Fu lamented the grand situation of "ten years of bowing will be far away, and the customs of the swing are the same", qianlong left behind the ice frolic sentence of "proposed string arrows, describing mirror dance luan"... From the Western Wei "Swimming Chart", the Five Dynasties "Archery Map", and then to the Ming Dynasty's "Lady Keju Diagram", poetry and entertainment competition, resulting in artistic wonders.
