Wang Yu, professional painter, member of China Collectors Association, consultant of Jieyang Youth Art Association, member of Jieyang Artists Association, young inherited family learning, and studied under Teacher Wang Lanruo, since the age of seven years old to learn painting has been in the art for more than 40 years, in January 1998 founded Baishizhai Calligraphy and Painting Studio so far, has long been engaged in Chinese painting creation, seal carving creation.
His works have been published in Yangcheng Evening News, Nanfang Daily, Jieyang Daily for many times; Chinese painting works have been selected for the "Third - Sixth Exhibition of Fine Arts, Calligraphy and Photography in Guangdong Province" organized by the Guangdong Provincial Artists Association and Qunyi Museum, and his Chinese painting "Landscape" has been selected for "Beautiful Life, Happy Future - 2003 Guangdong Provincial Fine Arts, Calligraphy and Photography Works Exhibition" and won the Excellence Award.
On New Year's Day 2016, he participated in the filming of the city propaganda film in Dongfang City, Hainan Province.
He once served as the secretary general and vice president of Jieyang Youth Art Association, the deputy secretary-general of Jieyang Collectors Association, and a member of the third and fourth Youth Federations of Jieyang City.
On New Year's Day 2018, the "Collection of Wang Yu's Calligraphy and Paintings" was signed and published by Teacher Feng Dazhong.
