01 The development of relations between the CCP and the Soviet Union
In 1937, the July 7 Incident broke out, and China entered a period of all-out war of resistance. During this critical period of China's peril, the Soviet Union gave a lot of support and assistance. Representatives of the Chinese National Government and representatives of the Soviet Government signed the Sino-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact. China wanted to build a military alliance with the Soviet Union, or at least a mutual aid relationship.

It was not until April 1948, when the Communist Party led by the great man had an absolute advantage in the struggle of the Kuomintang and basically controlled the situation of victory, that Stalin, the leader of the former Soviet government, initially clarified his attitude toward the Communist Party of China and happily agreed to the proposal of the great man to visit the former Soviet Union.
However, Stalin rebelled, and when the great man was ready to travel, he sent a telegram, repeatedly rejecting the great man's proposal to visit the former Soviet Union for various reasons, and instead sending Mikoyan to visit China.
