We even prefer the GTI to the more impactful Golf R, which can't win the competition with the Civic Type R, but it can outperform the Currently Unlisted Civic Si.
In 2022, the Golf GTI has more upgrades, not only in terms of appearance changes, but also in the power of the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. It now has 241 horsepower and 370Nm of torque, and while a fast-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is a better option here, a manual transmission can still be used.
