Hefei's new energy vehicle industry output value increased by 46.4% year-on-year in the first 11 months of last year

The reporter learned from the Hefei Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology on January 6 that the city has introduced and cultivated more than 120 upstream and downstream enterprises of new energy vehicles such as Weilai and Jianghuai. In the first 11 months of last year, the output value of Hefei's new energy automobile industry increased by 46.4% year-on-year.

In recent years, Hefei has made scientific plans, strengthened top-level design and overall coordination, accelerated the strategic upgrading of "scientific and technological innovation" and "industrial city", introduced complete industrial support policies, and created industrial landmarks and industrial clusters.

In 2020, NIO China headquarters settled in Hefei. In April last year, WEILAI Automobile cooperated with Jianghuai to build the Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park, with an initial investment of 50 billion yuan and an estimated annual output value of 500 billion yuan. It is expected that in the third quarter of this year, the Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park will be put into operation. At present, Hefei has a number of new energy vehicle leaders such as Jianghuai, Weilai, Volkswagen Anhui, BYD, Ankai, Hefei Chang'an, Chery (Chaohu), Guoxuan Hi-Tech, AVIC Lithium Battery, Huating Power, Juyi Technology, Ruineng Technology, Guibo New Energy, Junsheng Electronics, Lianchuang Electronics and other industrial chain supporting enterprises, Hefei University of Technology New Energy Vehicle Engineering Research Institute and other universities and research institutions, there are more than 120 upstream and downstream enterprises. Hefei has become a domestic new energy automobile industry agglomeration, a complete industrial chain covering complete vehicles, key components, applications, and supporting facilities has become a scale.
