After 480 days, Weichai Power once again set a new record, the thermal efficiency of the diesel engine body reached 51.09% for the first time in the world, and it ran for 9 seconds on the 100-meter track, further enhancing China's discourse power in the global internal combustion engine industry.

The thermal efficiency of Weichai Power Diesel Engine body reached 51.09%, which is another major revolution in the thermal efficiency of traditional power, and also provides technical preparations for the implementation of the "National VII" emission standards. According to estimates, compared with the existing mainstream products in the market (average 46% thermal efficiency diesel engine), 51% thermal efficiency diesel engine can reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by 10% respectively, which can save 16 million tons of fuel in China every year, with economic benefits of about 140 billion yuan; carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 50 million tons per year.
