It is reported that the engine is produced by SAIC Zhengzhou Engine Plant and has been fully upgraded from the aspects of combustion optimization, gas exchange, thermal management, friction reduction and NVH.
It is understood that the SAIC Blue Core Power GS61 1.5T engine adopts a new generation of SGCS combustion system, 350bar high-pressure fuel injection system, electronically controlled variable-section turbocharger, electronic water pump, Fast VVT, pendulum dual-mass flywheel and other technologies, so that the thermal efficiency has been increased to 40%.
Thermal management technologies such as high and low temperature dual circulation cooling system, electronic water pump and double thermostat, supplemented by intelligent software control strategies, improve cold start emissions and warm-up rates, and fuel consumption is as low as 6.0L/100km (NEDC).
The body side adopts a smooth waistline design, which not only makes the side present a unique light and shadow effect, but also increases the jumping beauty of the whole car. The rear of the car also adopts a penetrating tail light group, and ends in a C shape on both sides, with the Roewe brand LOGO above and the exhaust layout of the two sides below, the visual layering is prominent. It is reported that the new car will offer 3 sizes of rims to choose from, up to a maximum of 20 inches.
In terms of size, the new car has a wheelbase of 4655/1890/1655 (1664) mm and a wheelbase of 2765 mm, which is 57 mm longer than the wheelbase of the current model. In the configuration part, the new car is expected to be equipped with the new Roselle intelligent cockpit system and L2+ level automatic driving assistance system.
