In the production workshop of nearly 40,000 square meters, it is full of digital, intelligent and automated assembly lines, and an engine can be rolled off the production line every minute or more, which can achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 units.
SAIC Blue Core Power GS61 1.5T engine adopts a new generation of SGCS combustion system, with 350bar high-pressure fuel injection system and electronically controlled variable-section turbocharger, bursting out 300 Nm maximum torque, achieving 188 horsepower maximum horsepower, which is obviously advantageous in the same class of 1.5T engines.

Through the combination of electronic water pump, Fast VVT, pendulum dual mass flywheel, continuous variable oil pump and water-cooled intercooling system, low tension timing transmission system, and shaft journal size optimization, friction reduction coating and other technical measures, the friction loss is reduced by 21% compared with the previous generation, while the maximum thermal efficiency is increased to 40%, and the efficient operation area of the complete power system is increased by 30% compared with the previous generation.
It is worth mentioning that the new third-generation Roewe RX5 has a fuel consumption of only 6.0L/100km (NEDC), and the ultra-low fuel consumption can greatly reduce the cost of consumers' cars.

At the same time, the SAIC Blue Core Power GS61 1.5T engine is equipped with high and low temperature dual circulation cooling system, electronic water pump and double thermostat and other thermal management technologies, supplemented by intelligent software control strategies, covering the thermal management needs of various driving scenarios. According to reports, SAIC Blue Core Power GS61 1.5T has undergone more than 60 special tests, with a total of more than 55,000 hours of bench testing, and completed nearly 5 million kilometers of vehicle testing under various complex climatic conditions, and the quality can withstand extreme tests.
