In his youth, he pacified San Francisco, recovered Taiwan, and consolidated the foundation of the country; in middle age, he personally conquered Kaldan three times and expelled Tsarist Russia, laying the foundation for the prosperity of the Qing Dynasty and creating a great situation of Kangqian's prosperity, so it was also called the First Emperor of the Ages by posterity.
Such a great emperor, but the cause of his death has become a mystery, until now there are still two theories, one is the death of illness, the other is poisoned by his son Yongzheng.
Before Kangxi died
There is no doubt that the words of illness and death are the answers left in the canonical history, and evidence can be found in the Records of the Holy Ancestors and the Records of the Qing Dynasty.
In the Records of the Holy Ancestors, the cause of Kangxi's death has been recorded in detail, and a clear answer is given, that is, death from illness. However, the final draft of this official history book was finalized by Yongzheng, so the conclusion of Kangxi's death is not easy to say.
Another "Records of the Ancestors of the Qing Dynasty" records the physical condition of Kangxi in his later years, from the forty-seventh year of Kangxi, the kangxi emperor's body has been deteriorating day by day, plagued by diseases, and some old age diseases have been prominently displayed in the body. Therefore, if he died of a sudden emergency, he can also find a theoretical basis.
Kangxi was in poor health
In addition, in ancient times, people were able to live to the age of more than sixty years old, which is already a rare high life, combined with Kangxi's age and physical condition in his later years, the theory of being murdered by his son is not yet established.
So why is it that another version of Kangxi's death can go hand in hand with the cause of death recorded in the history? Another so-called theory is that Yongzheng murdered his father.
In 1722, the 69-year-old Kangxi had the interest of going out hunting, knowing that hunting was not an easy job, riding a war horse to ride in the mountains and forests, or two brushes.

Only this time when he went out hunting, what he himself could not imagine was that the King of Yan Luo was coming to collect people, and in the case of occasional wind and cold, his condition suddenly worsened. Within a few days, he went to Changchun Garden to drive the crane west.
Yongzheng ascended the throne smoothly with the assistance of Nian Tang Yao Long Keduo and others, as soon as he ascended the throne, rumors spread everywhere, and there was also the word that Yongzheng poisoned Kangxi with a bowl of poisonous ginseng soup, and there was also evidence of nose and eyes, in Zeng Jing's confession, it was forcefully proved that Kangxi died after entering a bowl of ginseng soup, who gave him this bowl of ginseng soup to drink? That was his son Yongzheng.
Therefore, the real cause of death of the Kangxi Emperor has become a mystery, and the two sides of illness and poisoning are always uncompromising to each other. I think that the main cause of the Kangxi Emperor's death was indeed due to illness, but after the illness, it is not excluded that he was affected by some objective reasons.
The Prince was deposed
Why? In Kangxi's later years, the War of the Nine Sons became more and more intense, and Kangxi was old, and he was already exhausted when he saw his sons seizing the throne.
Such a situation has emerged, and Kangxi, who is known as the "Emperor of the Ages", is really in a dilemma. The difficulty of this matter is that he is not only an emperor, he is also a father.
The palms of his hands and the backs of his hands were all flesh, and he really couldn't find a good way to quell this war, and the second abolition of the prince showed his helplessness.
The fourth elder set out to seize the throne
In the end, he could only hang the position of prince in the air and no longer appoint a prince. Even so, the battle has never stopped. At this time, there is not much difference between the prince standing and not standing, and he has to grab it, and if he does not stand, he must also grab it.
Because the first party headed by the eight brothers and the first party headed by the four brothers have reached the point where water and fire are intolerable, the forces of the two parties are already deeply rooted and cannot be easily shaken.
The Eighth Brother was already openly grabbing, and the Fourth Brother was the Dark Chen Cang. Because of this difficulty, after the crown prince was deposed, Kangxi was unable to establish a candidate for a future successor, and did not handle the matter well before his death.
