Born in the imperial family since ancient times, it was difficult to escape the fratricidal struggle between brothers, Li Shimin became the victor of XuanwuMen, but his victory was to kill several of his brothers; and Yongzheng stood out among the nine sons and eventually became the heir to the imperial throne, after he became emperor, several of his brothers were persecuted by him; during the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Pi was a son personally appointed by Cao Cao, and after Cao Cao's death, he abolished Liu Xie and established the state of Wei.
The enmity between Cao Pi and Cao Zhi was actually caused by the throne, and Cao Pi was always worried that Cao Zhi would steal everything from him and would kill him. But from Cao Zhi's point of view, he just wanted to keep this brotherly love and didn't want his brothers to kill. The reason why Cao Pi regarded Cao Zhi as a thorn in his eye was also related to Cao Cao's attitude. When Cao Zhi had not yet shown his ingenuity, Cao Cao still suspected that he was a stupid son, and did not think that Cao Zhi would always be able to put forward some unique insights in the later period, and Cao Cao was very happy. Cao Cao's preference for Cao Zhi was not a good thing, because this preference made Cao Pi a little jealous, and even let their brothers and sisters fight each other.
The seven-step poem we are most familiar with is written by Cao Zhi under the persecution of Cao Pi. At that time, Cao Zhi was this poem, which made Cao Pi finally remember the brotherhood between the two of them, and only gave up killing him. But in fact, before the "Seven Steps Poem", Cao Pi had already deliberately upset Cao Zhi. At that time, Cao Pi and Cao Zhi were traveling together, and they saw two cows fighting, and one of the cows was thrown to death by the other cow in the well because of his lack of physical strength.
When Cao Pi saw this scene, he naturally remembered the fight between himself and his brother Cao Zhi, so he let Cao Zhi compose poems, and when he made poems, he had to ride on a horse, walk no more than a hundred steps, and in the poems, there could be no cows, wells, death, and fighting words. If Cao Zhi could not write poetry, then he would be executed. Cao Zhi is both pen-bound: two flesh walk in unison, and wear transverse bones on his head. Walking to the head of the Taishi, the rise is abrupt. The two enemies are not strong, and one flesh lies in the earth cave. It is not as good as the force, and the grand intention must not be leaked.
