After the accident, the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chongqing Municipal Government quickly set up an on-site emergency response command. Yang Lin said that the emergency, firefighting, public security, medical and other aspects of Chongqing Municipality and Wulong District have fully participated in the scientific search and rescue of trapped people and the medical treatment of injured people. A total of 588 people, including fire rescue teams, emergency rescue teams, militia reserves, etc., 2 cranes, 6 fire trucks, 20 ambulances, and a number of other equipment were dispatched to carry out the search and rescue of trapped people. The Chongqing Municipal Health Commission coordinated the dispatch of 17 municipal experts and more than 100 medical and nursing elite forces, opened up a green channel for the treatment of the injured, implemented the "one person, one policy" for the injured, carried out all-out treatment, and actively and properly did the aftermath.
At present, Chongqing Municipality has set up an accident investigation team headed by the municipal government leader, and the cause of the accident is being further investigated.
