Among them, 112015 units were sold in December, creating the best single-month performance in recent years. In particular, it is worth mentioning that in terms of export sales, Chery Group sold a total of 269154 vehicles in 2021, an increase of 136.3% year-on-year, and continued to maintain the first place in the export of Chinese brand passenger cars. The annual sales of new energy models were 109028 units, an increase of 144.6% year-on-year.
In the domestic market, Chery Group sold 692772 new cars in the whole year, an increase of 12.38% year-on-year. In terms of specific brands, chery's brand (including exports, the same below) sold 656846 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 46.3% year-on-year, and Tiggo 8 series is still the largest main force, with annual sales exceeding 160,000 vehicles and an average monthly sales of more than 10,000. The Xingtu brand sold 37,155 vehicles throughout the year, although it increased by 121% year-on-year, but the average monthly average of about 3,000 vehicles is obviously not at a high level.
However, the economic brand Jietu Automobile still performed well, selling 154077 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 17.9% year-on-year. Since the launch of the brand, the total sales volume has exceeded 460,000 vehicles. Returning to the proud export sales, Chery Group's exports in December exceeded the 30,000-vehicle mark in a historic single month, reaching 31,253 vehicles, creating a new record for Chinese brands, a year-on-year increase of 126.7%, which is gratifying.
