On January 6th, the exhibition "Shouwang - He Haifeng's Landscape Paintings Exhibition" was launched at the Shenzhen Art Museum, exhibiting more than 60 new landscape paintings created by Shenzhen painter He Haifeng during the epidemic period, and the works in the exhibition can be divided into three parts: Hunan Sketch landscape, urban landscape and landscape creation.

These works integrate the ancient and the modern, and introduce the old and the new, not only the artistic conception and charm of traditional Chinese painting, but also the vision and tension of modern painting, showing a new generation of Chinese painters' new understanding and expression of landscape painting. The exhibition will run until January 17 and is free to the public.

Most of He Haifeng's works this time are painted on silk in the form of colored ink, combining brushwork and freehand, and the works do not seem to have a specific reference to the location of the north and south mountains and rivers, but the landform form is new and considerable, which is very different from the landscape paintings that are familiar and habitual in the daily exhibitions of the public. The work filters the fireworks of the real society, has a strong sense of modern composition, transforms the vision and expression of traditional Gongbi landscape painting into a very modern composition, whether it is color or shape, highlights the sense of the whole, and at the same time expresses the natural texture structure of mountains and rivers with rich brush and ink methods, which makes the viewer refreshed.

Xue Yongnian, professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and art historian of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the academic host of the exhibition, believes that He Haifeng's urban landscapes, illusion visual feelings, sublimate the geometric architectural groups with traditional green landscape painting methods, form a landscape meteorology with mountains like screens, weaken the feeling of repression and suffocation of the same cement forest, publicize the spiritual freedom of returning to nature to enjoy the "pleasure of sleeping", and reflect the vision of the generations of people for poetic inhabitation.

Yin Shuangxi, curator of the exhibition, professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and art critic, said that the works produced in this exhibition show He Haifeng's rich feelings about Shenzhen. Represented by "City of Stars", he presents Shenzhen as a stunning visual landscape with a blue tone, with high-rise buildings like mountains, twinkling stars, flowing clouds, and changing with each passing day. "City of Landscapes" and "Lost City" are a good expression of the painter's complex ideas about this city of reform and development, while "Morning Dawn of East Lake" shows the nature of the city, green water and green mountains, idle clouds, and light winds. In this way, the painter reveals the ideal of life of modern urban people, and it is not difficult for people to feel an ideal feeling for the future home from his landscape paintings that are far away from the hustle and bustle.
