In the face of these pseudo-non-commissioned officers trained by the Japanese army, the morale of the PLA soldiers to kill the enemy was extremely high, and finally won the battle. However, the regimental commander Park Rook-kwon was finally sacrificed.
When Park Ro-kwon was born, Korea had been occupied by the Japanese army, the Japanese army practiced dark rule in Korea, his father participated in the Korean Trinity Anti-Japanese Movement, was hunted and killed by the Japanese, and his family fled with him to take refuge elsewhere.
After the Japanese army invaded and occupied the three eastern provinces, Park Luoquan had no place to hide, so he joined the 5th Anti-Coalition Army to engage in defense and reconnaissance work.
After Japan's defeat and departure, the Kuomintang took over many bandits and bullies in the puppet state of Manchukuo, and those who had been wrongdoers during the Japanese occupation were once again appointed, with an extra layer of formal status, and continued to oppress the people.

Park Ro-kwon asked his troops to take charge of the front, and finally got the consent of his superiors. Among the opposing defenders was the "Iron Stone" unit incorporated by the Kuomintang, which was specially established by the Japanese army for the puppet state of Manchukuo and built as a "model" unit, and its combat effectiveness was comparable to that of the Kwantung Army.
Relying on the bunkers and fortifications left by the Former Japanese Army, the enemy army blocked out the 75th Regiment of the People's Liberation Army attacking the city, and repeated attacks failed.
Park Luoquan was even more angry about this, and selected some cadres and fighters to form a commando team, relying on the cover of fire to launch a surprise attack, constantly approaching the city center. However, the enemy is in a favorable position and the advance is very slow.
The deputy commander was also killed in the battle, and Park Luoquan personally commanded the troops to charge, and by dividing into multiple scattered assaults, they soon raided the enemy building.
In order to stop the PLA from continuing to advance, the enemy blocked the staircase with furniture, and the PLA used explosives to blow up the obstacles set up by the enemy. After that, the enemy of the building was eliminated, and after several days of fighting, the losses were very large, and the remaining personnel were less than a thousand people
The leader of the column planned to let them go down to repair, and Park Ro-kwon again found the leader and asked to continue fighting on the front line. The leader saw that he was resolute, and considered that after the previous battle, he knew the enemy better, but still agreed to his request.
On 18 April, the 75th Regiment captured Banjo-ji Temple after a battle, and finally the enemy was surrounded by the Puppet Central Bank, which was the core area of the enemy army and was defended by elite troops.
When the PLA fighters approached the bank building, the enemy suddenly poured out to launch a white-knife battle, and the other side was full of people and quickly gained the advantage. The other commanders were temporarily incapacitated, and Park Ro-kwon, as the leader of the regiment, took up his bayonet and led the warriors to kill the enemy.
After that, a fierce white-knife battle began, the two sides fought in close combat for an hour, the scene was very cruel, and after the battle, the blood on the ground was drowned to the neck. In the end, the warriors defeated the enemy army, and the "Iron Stone" troops could not resist and chose to surrender.
When Park Ro-kwon went up to accept the enemy surrender, an enemy officer sneaked up on him and shot him in the abdomen. In the end, he was not able to save him and died, at the age of 29.
