【2021 Annual Auto Sales Express】As of January 5, more than 20 car companies have released their annual sales data for 2021. Judging from the published data, the car sales of many manufacturers, especially independent brand car companies, have increased to varying degrees compared with the same period last year, among which the sales of new energy vehicles are hot, and the sales of most brands have more than doubled year-on-year. Below, the editor of the car purchase network takes you to see the sales volume of 22 car companies in 2021:
FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC-Volkswagen remain the best-selling car companies in 2021, with annual sales of 1,857,800 units and 1,356,500 units, respectively. These two car companies have not announced the year-on-year sales increase or decline in 2021, but from the cumulative sales volume from January to November 2021, the sales of FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC-Volkswagen will decline compared with the previous year.
Among FAW-Volkswagen's sales volume, the Volkswagen brand sold 988,700 units, the Audi brand sold 700,000 units (including imported cars), and the Jetta brand sold 169,000 units.
FAW Toyota and SAIC Motor both sold more than 800,000 passenger cars, of which FAW Toyota sold 860,000 units, an increase of 8% year-on-year; SAIC Motor passenger car sales exceeded 800,000 units, up 22% year-on-year, and sales reached 105,000 units in December.
The king of sales of FAW Toyota is the Corolla family, with annual sales of 330,300 units; the RAV4 Rongfang family sold 203,400 units, an increase of 117% year-on-year; and the Asian Dragon sold 123,500 units, an increase of 111% year-on-year.
It is worth mentioning that the global sales of the MG family in 2021 soared by 69.0% year-on-year to 472,000 vehicles, of which the cumulative sales of MG5 and MG ZS exceeded 100,000 units, the cumulative sales of MG5 exceeded 130,000 vehicles, and the cumulative sales of MG ZS exceeded 110,000 vehicles.
Dongfeng Honda sold 793,300 units in the whole year, slightly lower than SAIC passenger cars with MG and Roewe brands. The official did not announce the rise and fall of sales in 2021, but the cumulative sales volume from January to November 2021 fell slightly by 0.6% year-on-year, and dongfeng Honda's annual sales are expected to be not much different from the same period last year.
BYD Automobile can be said to be the largest car company in terms of incremental growth, with sales reaching 730,100 units in 2021, an increase of 75.4% year-on-year. Among them, BYD Han sold 117,700 vehicles in the whole year; BYD Tang sold 54,200 vehicles; BYD Song family sold 200,900 vehicles; and Qin PLUS DM-i sold 194,200 vehicles.
According to official data, FAW Hongqi's annual sales exceeded 300,000 vehicles in 2021, although it failed to achieve the annual target of 400,000 vehicles, but it still had a 50% increase compared with 2020.
Dongfeng Fengxing, GAC Aean and Dongfeng Fengshen have all achieved good sales results, with sales of more than 120,000 vehicles. Among them, Dongfeng Fengxing sold 134,100 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 47% year-on-year; GAC Ande Safety sold 123,700 units, an increase of 119% year-on-year; dongfeng Fengshen sold 121,600 vehicles, an increase of 73% year-on-year.
In 2021, the new car-making forces have made gratifying progress, and the annual sales of Xiaopeng Automobile, Weilai Automobile and Ideal Automobile have exceeded 90,000 units, and sales have more than doubled year-on-year. Among them, Xiaopeng Automobile sold 98,200 units in the whole year, WEILAI Automobile sold 91,400 units, and ideal automobile sales of 90,500 units.
In addition, new energy brands such as Volkswagen ID Family, Nezha Automobile, WM Automobile, and Zero-Run Automobile have achieved good sales results. Among them, the Volkswagen ID family sold 70,600 units, Nezha Automobile sold 69,700 units, WM Automobile sold 44,200 units, and zero-run cars sold 43,100 units.
As a luxury brand, Lincoln Motors will reach terminal sales of 91,600 units in 2021, an increase of 48% year-on-year, of which the main model Adventurer will sell more than 50,000 vehicles in the whole year.
Dongfeng Venucia also maintained its growth momentum, with sales of 87,800 units in 2021, an increase of 11.6% year-on-year. It is worth mentioning that Dongfeng Peugeot, whose sales have fallen into a trough in recent years, will reach 51,100 vehicles in 2021, an increase of 74% year-on-year.
The newly listed new energy brands Lantu Automobile and JiKr Automobile have accumulated sales of 6791 and 5808 vehicles by the end of 2021, respectively, with steady sales growth.
