In addition, the representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in Qinghai Province show the characteristics of combining the old, the middle and the young; there are 244 intangible cultural heritage project protection units recognized in Qinghai Province, of which 42 are at the national level, 66 are at the provincial level, 62 are at the municipal (prefecture) level, 74 are at the county (district) level, 90% of the protection units are provincial, municipal (state) and county (district) cultural centers, 10% are associations, enterprises and Tibetan hospitals, etc., and there are cross-border project protection units at all levels. In addition to the protection units, there are 328 non-genetic heritage display and inheritance sites set up in the province, of which 135 have financial support at all levels and 193 are self-financed and put into use by the society.

Among the representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage at all levels identified in Qinghai Province, 20% are young inheritors (20-35 years old), 35% are middle-aged inheritors (35-55 years old), and 45% are elderly inheritors (over 55 years old), which is more obvious that the "aging" among national and provincial inheritors is more serious, especially the average age of national inheritors is over 55 years old, and 16 and 36 of the identified national and provincial inheritors have passed away, respectively.

In the next step, Qinghai Province will continue to increase the implementation of intangible cultural heritage protection, continue to do a good job in the use and research of survey data, and play its due role in enhancing cultural self-confidence and cultural identity, promoting excellent traditional culture, promoting the cultural prosperity of Qinghai Province, driving local economic and social development, and helping the implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization.
