The collection of emblems for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games lasted four months and received more than 4,000 design proposals. After voting, Works No. 801 was shortlisted for the primary selection with the first place, among which the conceptual design of the word "Winter" was the prototype of the emblem of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, "Winter Dream", and the designer of this group of works was Lin Cunzhen.

After nearly a year of revision, Lin Cunzhen submitted the final design plan to the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee. After voting, Lin Cunzhen's No. 801 works "Winter Dream" and "Leap" stood out. The expert review committee unanimously agreed that the work integrates the rich oriental cultural heritage with the international modern style, presenting a new image and new dream of China in the new era.
