With all efforts to pursue dreams and build dreams with heart, the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games embody the strength of every Chinese, and it is also a great honor and gratitude for the opportunity to participate in it as a staff member.
"It's bound to be an extraordinary trip." On the car to the Zhangjiakou Mountain Broadcasting Center, I saw the beauty of chongli in the "Ice and Snow Kingdom" along the way, and this will also be the place where I will work, at this time my heart is gradually excited, and I can't calm down for a long time.
Check in at the resident hotel and pack your bags. The next morning, we arrived at the main battlefield, ZBC, and the technical manager in charge took us to familiarize ourselves with the environment of the venue.
Here, we saw broadcast offices in various participating countries, as well as office spaces in various technical fields. Before the official office, we conducted relevant workflow training, and also took the opportunity to review the professional knowledge of the work sector in order to better serve everyone.
At 20:00 on February 4, 2022, the entire stadium staff watched the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in their offices. From the opening "Li Chun" to the appearance of different countries, to the moment when the Flame of the Winter Olympics ignited Beijing, every frame of the picture is extremely touching, but more is the pride of being in China.
During the competition that followed, I had the privilege of seeing the biathlons compete in person. They are constantly speeding up on the ice, tossing and turning between movement and static. When everyone was wearing thick cotton coats, they could only wear a thin layer of sweatshirts, walking in the cold wind, and the admiration in their hearts suddenly came out.
After the opening ceremony, I officially entered the work cycle, and every time I saw the call in the work group and successfully solved problems for others, my heart would be filled with a deep sense of accomplishment.
The venue is like an inclusive family, and we not only work in it, but also live in it. Although it is the first time to celebrate the New Year in a foreign country, the warmth between colleagues in the venue does not make us feel the loneliness of being in another country. On the day of the New Year in the VTO office, the leaders carefully prepared a hot pot for us, and everyone gathered together to play games and jokes. Sure enough, I didn't love home as much as I thought, but another kind of warmth.
The outside in the north is cold below zero, but the interior is full of laughter, lively and warm. I believe that this will be my deepest memory of the festival in the cold north.
What excites me is the "pouring snow" exclusive to the north. As a child who grew up in the south, I met in the cold winter, and of course, the most fascinating thing for me was the heavy snow in the north. The snow in the north is not stingy, and I used to jokingly call it "pouring snow", which is really shocking.
Of course, we will not miss such a good opportunity, snowball fights, building snowmen are essential, especially when the whole person falls into the snow, the thick and soft snow is like a bed of goose feathers, that feeling is very wonderful. These are all beautiful that cannot be felt in Chongqing, different scenery has different wonderful, which is not worth our trip.
It was the time of winter, and it was a warm spring day.
I am very fortunate and grateful to have the honor to participate in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The season of ice and snow is my favorite season, and at the beginning of the new year, I feel a different kind of beauty, and at the same time, I have gained a lot in my work and life.
Although the story of the Winter Olympics has come to an end, the memory of it accompanying me is unforgettable.
