On January 4, on the eve of the official launch of the 2022 CES, Mercedes-Benz officially released the new VISION EQXX, which has an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.17Cd and an ultra-long endurance of 1000km+, and will be displayed on the spot during CES.
The new car adopts the Design Concept of Mercedes-Benz "New Luxury" and "Sensual Purity", and the biggest feature of the whole car is the lowest wind resistance coefficient in history, only 0.17Cd. The vision EQXX was inspired by Mercedes-Benz's aerodynamic concept car Concept IAA released in 2015, which shows that the body has an extremely smooth line design.
And you can see that the smooth lines of the body continue to the rear of the car and merge with the taillight shape. The rear diffuser adopts a retractable design so that the vehicle can give full play to the role of the diffuser when driving at high speeds, and at the same time, it can be shrunk and integrated into the body to further enhance the visual beauty of the vehicle.
Vision EQXX also features a lightweight design, including a pure electric chassis with a lightweight F1 subframe, and lightweight, sustainable materials for the interior, resulting in a vehicle weight of only 1,750kg.
The central control screen of the new car is equipped with a 47.5-inch LED display with a fully seamless design, with a resolution of 7680X660, which is very eye-catching. The screen introduces a game engine and a fully optimized user interface, and has jointly developed a 3D real-time navigation system that can adapt to the screen, which can enlarge the satellite screen to a height of 10 meters in the 3D city view, which is very shocking.
In the power section, the vision EQXX concept car electric drive system is based on the power unit of the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE supercar and provides a maximum output of 150kW. At the same time, the vehicle is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, and compared to the new EQS battery pack, the size is reduced by 50% and the weight is reduced by 30%. Coupled with the ultra-low drag coefficient and the lightweight design of the whole vehicle, the final VISION EQXX concept car achieved a single charge and a range of more than 1000km.
