When Wang Shusheng saw the scene of the happy life of the people of Dabie Mountain, his heart was very relieved and emotional. He also told the local people that he had a very important task in Dabie Mountain this time, that is, to dig out the treasure buried in the ground by the Red Army 20 years ago, this treasure is not small, and after the villagers learned of this, they all took the initiative to go home to get tools and help Wang Shusheng find this treasure together.
With the help of the crowd, the behemoth was soon dug up. It turned out that the treasure buried in the ground by the Red Army was an integral part of the aircraft. The moment Wang Shusheng saw the wreckage of this plane, tears burst out of his eyes. The people present were also deeply infected by him and shed tears of emotion. So, what kind of past is hidden in this plane wreckage?
The pilot who flew the plane was a man named Long Wenguang, who was raised by his adoptive father. Long Wenguang showed a thirst for knowledge at a young age, and his mind was very clever. With the support of his adoptive father, Long Wenguang entered the school to study. During my time in school, my grades have always been very good. When he was in middle school, it was a period of vigorous development of revolutionary thought in China.
Long Wenguang also learned a lot about advanced revolutionary ideas. With the great ambition of saving the country and saving the people, he then made a wish to defend his family and defend the country. In 1924, the Whampoa Military Academy was founded in China. After Long Wenguang learned of this news, he immediately went south and entered the Whampoa Military Academy to study. During his time at the military academy, Long Wenguang participated in many revolutionary battles.
Because of his outstanding performance on the battlefield, Long Wenguang was also publicly praised by the chief. Later, Long Wenguang finished his studies at the Whampoa Military Academy and entered the Aviation School to continue his studies. In 1927, Long Wenguang went to the Soviet Union to study. After returning to China after completing his studies, Long Wenguang was appointed as the flight team leader of the Air Force of the Nationalist Army. Since then, he has been on air missions.
In 1930, Long Wenguang flew the plane on a mission as usual. On the way back after completing the mission, the weather suddenly changed drastically, and the fog obscured Long Wenguang's vision. To make matters worse, the plane's fuel is also running out. In this critical situation, Long Wenguang could only choose to make a forced landing. At that time, the plane landed precariously in the air, but eventually landed safely on land.
To his surprise, however, the place where he landed turned out to be the red army's garrison. The soldiers of the Red Army also spotted the suspicious plane and immediately sounded the horn. Soon, the Red Army soldiers surrounded the planes together. Long Wenguang got off the plane and wanted to escape, but unfortunately he was already stuck in his wings and could not fly. He was then escorted to the interrogation room by Red Army soldiers.
During the interrogation, Long Wenguang's attitude was not very positive, and he kept his head down and remained silent. When the Red Army soldiers asked him why he had landed the plane here, Long Wenguang first said that the plane ran out of fuel and then said that the plane had malfunctioned. Suddenly, the inquiry work was delayed. When Xu Xiangqian heard that a pilot had been captured, he immediately arranged for the soldiers to bring Long Wenguang to him.
At that time, our Red Army ranks did not have a single aircraft, let alone any pilots. Therefore, Xu Xiangqian was very interested in him. After seeing Long Wenguang, Xu Xiangqian showed great courtesy and kindness, and took the initiative to introduce himself to Long Wenguang.
When Long Wenguang learned that the person in front of him was the famous Red Army general Xu Xiangqian, his face showed a look of doubt and shock, he could not believe that the humble and kind soldier in front of him was actually a general who was brave and good at fighting on the battlefield. After that, Xu Xiangqian introduced our organizational philosophy to him and took him to see the style of our Red Army team with his own eyes. Long Wenguang was deeply shocked by the scene in front of him, and he admired the Red Army even more. Subsequently, Xu Xiangqian issued an invitation to him.
After a period of consideration, Long Wenguang finally decided to join the Red Army. He was then appointed Chief of Staff of the Red Army. In order not to let the Nationalist army discover the plane, Long Wenguang proposed to hide the plane in a hidden place and repair the aircraft failure as soon as possible. Later, the Red Army agreed to his proposal and hid the plane in the Linwan area.
There is a village in the Lin Wan area full of mountains and bushes, perfect for hiding planes. However, in the process of moving the aircraft, the Red Army still encountered many obstacles. When passing through the Black Dragon Pond, because the surface of the pool was too wide and the aircraft volume was very large, the Red Army could not find a way to cross the Black Dragon Pond for a while. When the local people learned of this, they reached out to help.
They collected a lot of wood and other items from the surrounding area, and finally succeeded in building a simple pontoon bridge. After that, the Red Army soldiers carried the plane from the pontoon bridge to successfully cross the Black Dragon Pond and successfully hid the plane into the Linwan area. In May 1931, under the instructions of the Central Committee, the Space Agency was formally established, and Long Wenguang was appointed as the director.
In order to develop aviation technology, we have also built an airfield and mobilized a number of aerospace technical personnel. The main task after that is to transport the aircraft to the airport. However, the size of the aircraft is very large, and it is very difficult to carry it completely to the airport. As a result, some people proposed to dismantle the aircraft and move it separately.
This suggestion was later adopted and eventually successfully transported to the airport. Thanks to the efforts of Long Wenguang and many comrades, the aircraft was successfully assembled and painted with new paint, looking like new. In order to appear to be a Red Army aircraft, they also deliberately brushed red stars on the wings of the aircraft. The successful assembly of this aircraft also means that we have the first aircraft of our own.
Subsequently, the Red Army also held a naming ceremony, at which Xu Xiangqian officially named the plane, the "Lenin". Soon after, the plane officially began test flights. On that day, the airfield was surrounded by onlookers. When the plane actually took to the skies, the crowd erupted in bursts of cheers and applause.
Later, Long Wenguang piloted the plane and began to carry out the mission. As the plane hovered over Wuhan, it provoked Chiang Kai-shek's anger. He issued an order to blow up the Red Army plane immediately, but without success. Since then, this aircraft has appeared on the battlefield many times and contributed greatly to the victory of the war.
Unfortunately, in a later battle, our army was surrounded by regiments of air force units of the Nationalist army. The fighters were forced to dismantle the aircraft and bury it on the spot. But later, because of the traitor's whistle-blowing, the aircraft parts buried underground by our army were still destroyed by the nationalist army. It was not until 1951, when Wang Shusheng came to Dabie Mountain again, that he dug up the remaining aircraft fragments of that year.
Later, Wang Shusheng handed over the plane to the motherland, and in order to commemorate this touching history, the state ordered the reconstruction of an identical Lenin aircraft and displayed it in a museum for the world to remember the history of that year.
Seeing the Lenin plane again, the glory days of the past are vividly remembered, and the ancestors have moved forward step by step for the development of the motherland, and you can imagine how surprised and excited they were when they first saw the plane. Today, we have been able to develop aircraft independently, no longer have to envy others, and we are strong enough to build this harmonious world together.
