After graduating from the military academy in 1941, Wu Qiren was arranged in the 5th Brigade of the Chinese Air Force, after which Wu Qiren joined the Flying Tigers, in Wu Qiren's air force career, he flew planes to fight against the Japanese army many times, each time was extremely dangerous, but every time Wu Qiren was very difficult to die, he also achieved great results, and shot down 5 Japanese aircraft.
In addition to being able to inflict heavy damage on the enemy in battle, Wu Qiyuan was also a very good transporter, in 1942, after the Japanese army captured the Sino-Burmese border, cut off the international material transportation line for China, for this reason, the United States suggested that China and the United States cooperate to open a new air route to transport materials, which is called the "Hump Route"
The Japanese army also knew the importance of the Hump Route to China, because they wanted to destroy it by any means, so some people said that this route was the most dangerous route in the world at that time, wu Qiyuan flew a total of four times in this, each time, he was ready to sacrifice, but also his fate, but also his luck, high technology, every time he was fierce.
After the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in 1945, he had been promoted to the commander of the Fifth Brigade of the Chinese Air Force, and in Nanjing, he personally witnessed the historical moment of Japan's signing of surrender, and in 1949, he retired to Taiwan with the Kuomintang.
Soon, Wu Qiyuan came to Hong Kong, found our party's office in Hong Kong, announced that he wanted to surrender, and soon after, he returned to Beijing and worked as an instructor at the PLA Air Force airport.
