But why is the scope of application a bit narrow? Because the power of the 48V motor is still too far from the motor in the conventional hybrid system. As long as the speed is mentioned, it is still a 48V mix system that is not very useful. The route of our test drive this time is mainly suburban roads, except for a few red and green and intersections, there is basically no parking, and the experience of the new XT4 driving in the state of smooth roads is not much different from the old model.
Of course, this does not affect the driving experience of the XT4 itself, the tight and textured chassis is still in the same class of the better part, the more tough support makes the XT4 feel more flexible, not at all like an SUV with a wheelbase of 2779mm.
But when it comes to what needs to be improved, there are actually some, that is, engine noise. This engine is more obvious when the noise is accelerated, especially the tuning of the XT4 itself is biased towards movement, so the gearbox will not be so fast to lift gears, and the sound of the accompanying engine will be more obvious, if this can be improved, it would be better.
After this redesign of the XT4, the overall product strength has been improved to a certain extent, but it is not large. The advantage is still the design, materials, power and other places that Cadillac has always done well, and this time it has also made the car machine have more functions.
