In the early days of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the US military often dispatched various bombers to focus on attacking the rear of the volunteer army, causing difficulties in the supply of materials to the volunteer army. Compared with all kinds of canned food, convenience foods, and even coffee and chewing gum in the mouths of the US military, fried noodles, which are the most important rations of the volunteer army, are almost the simplest and most primitive food.

The film crew of "Beacon Memory" came to Luocheng Town, Hui'an County, Quanzhou City, to interview the elderly Wang Muchang, who was born in Luoyang Town, Hui'an County in 1946, joined the army in December 1959, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1965. When we asked what was the most impressive thing in the old man's military career, the old man did not hesitate to answer that Chongwu fought in the East China Sea.
Speaking of this battle 56 years ago, the diary of this old "tiger soldier" Wang Muchang wrote: On the afternoon of November 13, 1965, at about 5 o'clock, we suddenly received an urgent briefing from our superiors that Taiwan's Chiang Kai-shek reactionaries had dispatched the escort gunboat "Yongchang" and the large submarine hunting ship "Yongtai" to the fishing ground east of Chongwu to sabotage our fishery production, and our superiors ordered us to quickly attack and eliminate this invading enemy.
