On April 2nd, the "Exhibition of New Products in the Collection of Guangdong Provincial Arts and Crafts Museum" was exhibited at the Guangdong Provincial Arts and Crafts Museum (Museum). The exhibition focuses on nearly 200 pieces of Guangdong arts and crafts collected by the Treasures Museum in 2020, covering more than 10 traditional arts and crafts categories such as ceramic sculpture, carving, paper cutting, embroidery, etc. There are Chinese arts and crafts masters such as Li Denong, Liang Jinling, Xie Hua, he Jianjun, Li Zhongqing, Ma Zhidong, Zhang Ruiduan and other masters of arts and crafts in Guangdong Province, and a large number of young new forces in the industry.

The exhibition takes the key pillar of archaeology as the starting point, tells the archaeological story of the ruins of the National Palace of South Vietnam, interprets the obscure archaeological knowledge and archaeological process for the public, and deciphers the unchanged city center of Guangzhou for two thousand years.

As a result, the Treasures Museum has five representative cultural relics such as Feng Weimin, a master of arts and crafts in Guangdong Province and the representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Foshan City, imitating the key pillars of the strata preserved at the site of the National Palace of South Vietnam and the "Long Live" character Wadang of the South Yue Kingdom, so that the audience has the opportunity to have zero-distance contact with the "antiquities" at the subway station.

As the "content production end" of Gongmeigang, the Treasure Museum cooperates with local multi-party cultural institutions to "Rong Space - Guangzhou Gongmeigang Sculpture Art Exhibition" in the public space of Gongmeigang. A total of 28 sculpture works (sets) are exhibited in the exhibition, with Gongmeigang Avenue, the inner streetscape of the park, Linjiang Avenue and the Art Expo Center as the bearing area, and the form of "outdoor space display as the main + indoor exhibition hall as a supplement" to form a coherent and open exhibition line.

"Rong Space" is even more out of Lingnan and travels upstream. On December 27th, the "Rong Space - Sculpture and Lingnan Arts and Crafts Joint Exhibition" was held at the Qujing Art Museum. In this exhibition, 14 Lingnan arts and crafts masters went to Qujing, Yunnan With their outstanding masterpieces, to personally design and arrange the exhibition. More than 40 works on display include Guangxiu, Guangcai, Duanyan, wood carving, Foshan ceramic sculpture, jade jade carving, etc., with a variety of categories.

The Guangzhou Sculpture Institute brought more than 30 creative modern and contemporary sculpture works to the exhibition, including many famous masterpieces, such as Tang Daxi's "Ouyang Hai" and Lin Yuhao's "Deer Return"; there are also innovative masterpieces by national first-class artists Xu Hongfei, Lu Zengkang, Wang Weining and others.

Since August this year, the Treasures Museum has held the 2021 Guangdong Provincial Women's Handicraft Entrepreneurship Innovation Competition, which finally came to an end in December, and finally 50 participating projects advanced to the final, resulting in gold, silver, bronze and excellence awards in 3 categories, showing the style of Guangdong women in the handicraft industry in an all-round way.

Arts and crafts have natural social life attributes. From 2017 to 2020, the Museum of Treasures planned and held a number of traditional cultural experience and teaching activities with "Entering the Museum of Treasures to Learn The Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture and Approaching the Masters of Arts and Crafts to Experience the Beauty of Guangdong Craftsmanship". The Museum of Treasures holds art and art training courses such as the "Master Into Campus Project". At present, the series of courses includes art projects such as Guangdong embroidery, Chaozhou wheat straw painting, and Yingshi artificial mountain bonsai techniques. Since 2019, the Treasures Museum has been listed as the "Guangdong Province Middle-aged and Young Female Cadres Education Practice Base".
