He has successively won the titles of Master of Chinese Inner Painting art and Master of Arts and Crafts of Hebei Province, enjoys the special allowance of the State Council, and is a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Hebei Province. He pioneered the "Inner Painting Thick Ink Landscape Painting Method" and was rated as the inheritor of the provincial intangible cultural heritage project in 2012. His works have won the first prize of Hebei Folk Art Fair, the 9th China Arts and Crafts Masters Works and Gold Medal of International Art Exposition and other awards.

"My father founded Hengshui Inner Painting on the basis of the art of internal painting in Beijing, Lu, Guangdong and other schools, and he always taught me not to follow the old ways." Under the influence of his father, Wang Ziyong also continued to innovate on the road of internal painting creation, pioneering the "Inner Painting Thick Ink Landscape Painting Method", inventing diamond chalk pencils, and creating the inner painting works with the theme of "Characters and Stories".
