From the perspective of share, the installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate power batteries began to account for more than three yuan in September this year, and the focus of the lithium battery industry after a few years turned back to the increase in the share of lithium iron phosphate.
According to the statistics of the high-tech industry research institute (GGII) according to the statistics of the new energy vehicle traffic insurance caliber, from January to November 2021, the domestic new energy vehicles are equipped with about 1.166 million lithium iron phosphate batteries, an increase of 468%; the installed capacity of power batteries is about 50.82GWh, an increase of 240% year-on-year.
From the perspective of application areas, the growth of lithium iron phosphate power battery installed capacity mainly comes from the new energy passenger car and special vehicle market. The passenger car market is specifically manifested as the switch from the hot-selling models of the main engine factory to the direction of iron and lithium, and the special vehicle market is specifically manifested in the increase in the number of power-changing pure electric tractors.
From January to November this year, the top ten enterprises in the installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate power batteries are Ningde Times, BYD, Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Yiwei Lithium Energy, Ruipu Energy, AVIC Lithium Battery, Penghui Energy, Lishen, Henan Lithium, and Wanxiang. Among them, the first three power battery companies account for 91% of the total lithium iron phosphate power battery installed capacity. In 2022, with the intensification of competition in the lithium iron phosphate market, these lithium iron phosphate companies will carry out very fierce competition.
