The Lincoln brand has achieved good results since it was domestically produced last year, and its sales volume in the first 11 months of this year has exceeded 82,800 units, an increase of 54% year-on-year. However, almost all of the models on sale under the brand are SUV models, and it is obviously very thin to rely on only one model in the mainland to adhere to the car market. There has also been controversy within the Lincoln brand about how the car market is viewed, with early days saying they would terminate the car business at the end of 2020, but with the arrival of the Lincoln Z, the controversy came to an abrupt end. The Lincoln Z is a mid-size sedan specially supplied for the Chinese market, and the prototype is the ZEPHYR concept car released at this year's Shanghai Auto Show, which is named after an asteroid that flew over the earth discovered by NASA in 1999, which also coincides with the style of "Generation Z". By the Guangzhou Auto Show in November, the concept car had been basically finalized as a Lincoln Z and opened pre-sale, and the new car was divided into 7 models in two styles, iku and i, with a price range of 25.50-342,000 yuan. Recently, this car came to Shenzhen at the pre-sale meeting, and we took a live photo of the 2022 i-enjoy premium version (hereinafter referred to as Lincoln Z) on the spot to see how it embraces a new generation of car consumers.

The Lincoln Z is based on the Ford C2 platform and is a special model for the Chinese market. The front face shape is completely consistent with the theme of "space-time universe", and the large size of the net is embedded with a three-dimensional chrome dot matrix, like a star dot. The orbital light strip seems to be a planetary orbit, and the central illuminated car logo is a rotating planet, and the design idea is very clear. The bottom is a thick chrome strip and a three-dimensional bottom lip for added sophistication. In order to meet the individual needs of young users, for the first time, iku and i enjoy two exterior styles are also provided, the i-cool version uses chrome embellishment, while the i-cool adopts a blackened style, which is more sporty, and the whole series of models is equipped with an active grille as standard.
The design of the headlight shape is very sufficient, and the curved LED daily running light strip is connected to the middle net through the light strip, like a circular track. The interior adopts a split type near high beam and is equipped with an LED light source as standard, which supports automatic lighting and adaptive near high beam functions. There is also a welcome light function, when carrying the key close to the vehicle, the central star will automatically light up, and then the light strip will light up and extend to both sides. The side shape adopts equal length front and rear overhang, the wheelbase length is sufficient, the distance from the front wheel center to the front door is moderate, the symmetry between the large angle tilting A-pillar and the slipback roof is good, and the side window shape is very stretched. The waistline runs straight through the front and rear, and the retractable shoulders under the tail window are also very high-end. The body dimensions are 4982/1865/1485mm and the wheelbase is 2930mm. Although the Lincoln Z is not an extended wheelbase model, the wheelbase is comparable to the mainstream Mid-range car in Germany, and the length, width and height are larger, catering to the preferences of the Chinese people.
The details are very delicately decorated, using black painted A-pillars, chrome side window borders, exterior mirrors are also black and silver two-color collocation, horizontal stretch brackets appear very elegant, integrated slender LED side lights, and the side camera at the bottom is also quite hidden. Long black and silver two-tone trims were added to the front fenders and doors, marked with the "ZEPHYR" logo, while the hidden pop-up door handles were also two-tone trim, subtly hidden in them. The rear shape is very wide, but it uses more three-dimensional shapes. The entire strip of the upper through-type taillights is three-dimensional, protruding from the bodywork, and there are three-dimensional "LINCOLN" letters that can be lit in the center. If the exterior decoration is mainly exquisite in detail, then the cockpit feels like the overall subversion, and the huge joint screen occupies the entire center console, which looks very shocking. The screen is composed of a 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard + a 27-inch overall screen, with a total length of 1.1 meters. Seeing it, we naturally think of the Ford EVOS that was introduced to you not long ago to provide a screen of exactly the same size, and we estimate that the hardware should be basically the same. The center of the center console is arranged with a face recognition camera, which can automatically adjust the corresponding setting preferences after identifying the identity of the driver, and the intelligence of human-computer interaction is further improved.
The double-spoke steering wheel has a micro-flat bottom shape, standard leather wrapping, and the large diameter and large central area decoration looks a bit bulky, with a typical American flavor. The rear seats are made in much the same material as the front seats, and feel that the padding is softer.
