Geely Group's electric brand Krypton will provide exclusive vehicles for the Waymo One driverless fleet and put them into commercial operation in the United States.
According to the official introduction, the model is based on the Haohan-M architecture, designed and developed by the Krypton European Innovation Center, and the Haohan-M architecture is the intelligent travel platform of Krypton.
Judging from the current official release of pictures, this model is completely developed for operating vehicles, low ground clearance, flat floor shape, and cancellation of the B-pillar design are all to make it more convenient for passengers to get on and off, and will also create ample head and leg space to bring a more convenient getting on and off the car experience.
As a model developed for the automatic driving platform, the model will mainly be oriented to unmanned driving application scenarios, using a more flexible cockpit design, which can support two solutions: driver control mechanism and no driver control mechanism. According to the plan, the model will be equipped with Waymo Driver driverless solution after delivery.
