But according to common sense, we can find many doubts in the above statement:
As a high-cold woman who is good at harem fighting and does not smile, why do she laugh when she sees the princes and soldiers? Could it be that the brain circuits are different from ordinary people?
The Western Zhou patriarchal system still existed, and the princes still took Zhou Tianzi seriously, and they would even regard The Marquis of Shen as a prince, and later approve of his support for Yi usu, is this not a naked abandonment of the dark and the light, aiding and abetting abuse?

Therefore, just by looking at the above records, it is difficult to get close to the truth. Combined with the research of later generations, historians have given another explanation.
First of all, the decline of Western Zhou was not just the pot of King Zhou You. The decline of any regime is usually "frozen three feet not a day's cold", and there is a gradual and continuous process.
Just like in the beginning, the late Shang Dynasty used troops in the southeast for many years, which brought great damage to its economy and people's strength; at the same time, the aristocrats were accustomed to years of luxurious life, especially collective alcoholism, which seriously weakened the aggressiveness and fighting spirit of the royal family. During the reign of King Shang, this situation was not alleviated, and the conquest of Dongyi was also strengthened; under the strength of this and that, the Zhou people, who had originally married the Zhou royal family, grew large in the west and seized the opportunity to capture the Shang capital.
The decline of the Western Zhou Dynasty can be described as a repetition of the mistakes of the Shang Dynasty. After the establishment of the Zhou Dynasty, it has been committed to arming the expansion of the border, and subsequently set up relatives Xun Gui as princes. There were two main routes of expansion: east and south, Shijiang han, Pinghuaiyi, Shi Changwu, Zheng Xu Rong, and the well-known Zheng Barbarian Jing. "Zhou You is the alliance of the Taimu room, and Rong Di is rebellious", which confirms the purpose of this alliance.
However, as Empress Shen and Crown Prince Yiusu ran back to Shenguo, Shen Hou, in a fit of rage, allied himself with The Kingdom of Jin and Inuyasha. In order to put an end to this hidden danger, in 771 BC, King You of Zhou led an army to attack the State of Shen, and the Marquis of Shen joined forces with the State of Jian and inu Rong to meet the attack, and the two sides fought a major battle at Lishan (which was found by later historians, which was located between the State of Hojing and the State of Shen), and the King of Zhou You's soldiers were defeated and killed, and then the HoJing was breached.
However, the subsequent trend of events, the "Bamboo Book Chronicle" has a completely different statement from the "History": "Shen Hou, Lu Hou, Xu Wen Gong Ping Wang Yu Shen, Yu Gong Han Li Xuan Prince Yu Chen. On Tuesday the kings stood side by side. Twenty years later, he was killed by Marquis Wen of Jin."

The killing of King Wen of Jin by Marquis Wen of Jin occurred in 760 BC, thus ending the ten-year-long situation of the zhou royal family's two kings, which was known as "Prince Wenqin".
So the question is, since the King of Zhou Ping was originally established in the Shen Kingdom, and at this time the King of Zhou was killed, why didn't king Ping return to his hometown in Guanzhong, but instead left his patrons Shen Guo, Ji Guo and Inu Rong, and waded through the mountains and waters to Run to Luoyi?
There is no love for no reason, and there is no hate for no reason. Modern historians believe that Marquis Wenhou of Jin killed King Zhou on the suspicion of killing the king, but only in order to take advantage of the chaos to move west and take the Hexi region; at this time, the State of Qin also rose in chaos, and cooperated with the Jin State to annex Guanzhong.
For King Ping of Zhou, the fact that these two princes were able to help themselves kill king Zhou, the biggest political enemy, was undoubtedly a great human feeling, so he completely left Guanzhong, but only repaid the favor and fell in love.
Therefore, the death of King You of Zhou and the eastward movement of King Ping of Zhou are nothing more than a general outbreak of political and military struggle. King Yi of Zhou you and Marquis Shen united allies to fight for the throne for their nephews, and these people were undoubtedly the ones who killed the king and the father; Inu Rong, Xu, Jin, and Qin worked hard to help the king of Zhou Ping, more like each taking what he needed. For most of the princes in the east, it was natural to look down on this naked fatherless and kingless rebellious act from the heart.
After this toss, the strength and majesty of the Zhou Tian Chamber were both damaged, and the princes expanded and fought for their own interests more comfortably, and it was only a matter of time before the "ceremony collapsed and the music was broken".
