Goku has been working as a primary school apprentice in the cave, and he has been unconsciously for seven or eight years. On this day, Bodhi Grandmaster finally gave a big lesson. It was in this lesson that Goku showed unprecedented joy, see:

"Sun Wukong listened to the talking, and he was so happy that he scratched his ears and scratched his cheeks, his eyebrows were smiling, and he couldn't help but dance with his hands and follow his feet."

Journey to the West

The monkey king traveled all the way across the ocean to study, and the monkey nature seemed to be almost consumed: you see him drowning himself among many elementary school students, following the rules and obscurity; but at this moment, we suddenly see his spiritual rebirth.

Dancing and almost insane, it is unprecedented and unique to Goku.

This makes people wonder, just a lesson, why is there such a big magic that people can't help but be happy like this?

Let's take a look at the master's class first:

"The patriarch sat on the altar, summoned the immortals, and began to preach the dao. The real one is - the ceiling is falling, the ground is gushing with golden lotus. The three-fold teaching is exquisite, subtle and complete. Slowly shake the tail of the elk to spray pearl jade, ringing thunder and moving for nine days. Speaking for a while, talking about Zen for a while, the three schools cooperate as they are. Enlightened one word conversion to sincerity, guiding the lifeless sexual mysteries. ”

Master, both have two brushes. This small passage at least reveals a few points of the Bodhi Guru's subtleties:

The master's classroom teaching effect is excellent. "The sky is falling, the earth is full of golden lotuses", this is the effect of the Buddha's lecture. Don't look at "falling from the sky" is a derogatory term today, describing people talking and exaggerating the facts is not marginal, but this word is indeed derived from the Buddhist scriptures, is the Buddha's preaching to the highest wonderful place of wonder, is the master's unique magic skill, ordinary people can not cultivate this trick.

The master is very knowledgeable. "The three-fold teachings are exquisitely performed, and the subtle and ten thousand Dharmas are complete"; "Speaking the Tao for a while, preaching a little Zen, and the three schools of harmony are as they are", the master is very knowledgeable, and he knows the essence of the three schools of Buddhism and Confucianism.

The master's teaching method is exquisite. "Performing the Three-Fold Teaching, Subtle and Complete", can use superb teaching methods to skillfully deduce the profound Buddhist scriptures, and can also "subtlely" go deep into the text and read it carefully.

Masters can create and click. Grasp the key points of teaching from all kinds of sayings, sort out the most important clues, see the nature of the mind, and open up the second pulse of your Ren Dou with one shot - "enlightened one word to convert sincerity, guide the unborn sexual mysteries."

The teaching aids of the master are very powerful. "Slowly shake the tail of the dragon and spray pearl jade, ring the vibration thunder for nine days", there are teaching aids, there are movements, and the sound is also the effect of 3D surround sound.

Look at Goku's epiphany again:

Goku has been on the hunt. From the little stone monkey who has no father and no mother, to the monkey king who explores the water curtain cave, who cries because of the imminent death of worry, to the years of wandering to learn the art... The pursuit does not stop, the pursuit of the eternity of life, the pursuit of the value of life. At the moment, he was clearly in a period of confusion. Although I have been learning people and scholars to cultivate trees and weeds to lay the foundation for various studies, although there is a goal of seeking eternal life, the future is actually still very distant and hazy, what is the future "I" like, and what to do? ...... Everything is still unknown.

At this moment, the master comes to see the clouds and the sun, leading you to enlightenment.

"Talk about the Tao for a while, talk about Zen for a while, and the three schools will cooperate as they are." In Confucianism, it is "me" and others who are enlightened; the enlightened is "I" and the self; the Taoist is enlightened by "me" and all things in heaven and earth. Good learning is inclusiveness and penetration, not strict barriers. With the cooperation of the three families, they were able to observe the life and self of the universe with great wisdom.

At this moment, "I" suddenly saw another Qingming world above the clouds, with unparalleled beauty. "I" saw myself clearly, my soul, the true meaning of life, and the infinite possibilities of the future.

And these, the monkeys of Huaguo Mountain can't tell me, the green pine and bright moon can't tell me, and many people in the world along the way can't tell me.

Only I myself, wading through mountains and rivers, struggling, all kinds of dangers, silently bearing, a long time later, at this moment, by the master to tell me.

The joy of this "epiphany" is enough to offset all suffering.

Just like the Buddha had an epiphany under the Bodhi tree, just like the Six Patriarchs hui could hear the Diamond Sutra and have an epiphany, "enlightenment", suddenly enlightened, is really a wonderful word.

Buddha, Huineng, and Wukong, all of whom were fortunate enough to meet the enlightenment of the master under the persistence and efforts of persistently pursuing the arduous search, were able to "have an epiphany" and taste the joy of this trance-like new life.
