However, after reading the original work of "Journey to the West", we will find that the so-called Haunting Heavenly Palace is not at all as wonderful as shown in movies or TV series. Sun Wukong just flipped over a few tables, knocked down a stove, smashed a few wine jugs, and ran to the Ling Xiao Treasure Hall and sprinkled a splash.
Moreover, this kind of scene of making a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace did not happen by accident, as early as before the Three Star Cave of the Oblique Moon of the Fangzhi Mountain in Lingtai, sun Wukong had already predicted this outcome when he was driven away by the Bodhi Ancestor.
So, let's continue to the place that was not clearly explained in the previous issue, that is, the origin of Bodhi Ancestors, and the truth of Sun Wukong's big trouble in the Heavenly Palace, to start today's topic.

Earlier we also talked about so many disciples of Bodhi Guru, why didn't any of them appear again later?
If you use a few words to explain, it is that the disciples of bodhi ancestors lack some qualifications, and most of them cannot reach the height of Sun Wukong. And they basically live in West Niuhe Chau, which is two seas away from Dongsheng Shenzhou, where Huaguo Mountain is located, and Sun Wukong can't touch it when he is a youkai.
When Sun Wukong was bowing to Ma Wen, he had never been a royal horse supervisor, and even if there were brothers who became officials in heaven, he would not be able to see him. When Sun Wukong was the Great Sage of Qi Tian, he was wandering around, but unfortunately he saw all the great gods, and it was difficult for his brothers and masters to reach that level, and naturally they could not see them.
By the time Sun Wukong came out from under the Five Elements Mountain, it was already six or seven hundred years later, and none of his teachers and brothers had learned the art of immortality, and most of them could not hide from the natural disasters once in five hundred years, and basically went to reincarnation.
Of course, there is another point, that is, when The Bodhi Patriarch drove Sun Wukong away, he said that he would not let him mention his name, and his brothers and sisters did not dare to recognize Sun Wukong.
Although this explanation makes sense, I (Yang Jiaofeng) suddenly found out when I (Yang Jiaofeng) was thinking hard about the whereabouts of Bodhi Guru. Maybe the truth is not so simple, and his brothers may have been involved in a political struggle...
To explain this question, we have to start with Bodhi Guru, where did he come from, and where did he go?
Of course, too many people on the Internet mention that the Bodhi Ancestor is the Buddha, that is, the Guanyin Bodhisattva, that is, the Taishang Laojun, and can basically justify himself, but is the truth really so?
Two
After Sun Wukong found the Lingtai Fangzhi Mountain, he met a woodcutter who mentioned Bodhi Ancestor:
"There was a god in the cave called Grandmaster Subhuti. The disciples of the ancestor who went out were also countless, and now there are thirty or forty people practicing from him. ”
From the mouth of the woodcutter, it can be known that Bodhi Grandmaster has taught an unknown number of students, but so many disciples, except for Sun Wukong, there is no second in the book.
In fact, the same situation appears not only in the Bodhi Ancestors, but also in the Zhenyuan Daxian of the Wuzhuang Temple, as well as the mysterious Wuchao Zen Master, such as Zhen Yuanzi:
"There are also countless scattered immortals under the Great Immortal Gate, and I see that there are still forty-eight disciples now, all of whom are all true to the Tao..."
Zhen Yuanzi is a sect of his own, his Five Zhuang Guan does not worship the Heavenly Court, does not worship the Western Heavens, only worships the Heavens and the Earth, but so many disciples come down the mountain, why are they all heard from?
Wuchao Zen Master was even more miserable, for so many years he had not been stingy in accepting apprentices, and it was hard to meet a pig who wanted to take him as an apprentice, but he was rejected:
"He also has some ways of doing things. He had advised me to practice with him, but I hadn't gone. ”
What does this mean?
This shows that, just like Stephen Chow's movie "Kung Fu", there are many people practicing martial arts, but there are very few martial arts wizards who are selected from all over the world.
This also explains why the disciples of Bodhi Grandmaster, and the kind of disciple who saw Sun Wukong fighting clouds, the first thing he thought of was to go to the yamen to seek a living disciple who delivered letters. Also, Under Zhen Yuanzi's door, Qingfeng Mingyue, two apprentices who had lived for more than a thousand years, actually came up with the method of locking the door to trap Sun Wukong and others!
Three
Obviously, the appearance of Sun Wukong was precisely the martial arts wizard that Bodhi Ancestor had waited for a long time to open a small stove for him and teach him the skill of fighting.
But the strange thing is that under normal circumstances, when the master hopes that the apprentice can be better than the blue out of the blue, and carry forward the master. Later, when it was passed out, there was also light on the face, and Sun Wukong was also the martial arts wizard who was the one in the world.
However, Bodhidharma repeatedly stressed that after leaving the mountain gate, one should not mention one's own name:
"If you say half a word, I will know it, peel off your skin and file your bones, relegate your spirit to the nine ghosts, and teach you that you must not turn over in all disasters."
Moreover, Grandmaster Bodhi possessed the ability of an uncertain prophet, and since he knew that Sun Wukong would cause trouble when he went out, wouldn't it be better not to teach him martial arts before, as for repeated instructions?
After Sun Wukong was knocked on the head three times, he entered the bedroom of Bodhi Grandmaster in the middle of the night, where he did not sleep, and muttered:
"Hard, hard, hard! The Tao is the most mysterious, and Mo puts Jin Dan as an idle. Don't meet people to pass on the magic tips, empty words trapped tongue dry! ”
This also shows that Sun Wukong is indeed the supreme person he is waiting for!
So, what did Bodhi Grandmaster really want to do, specifically teaching Sun Wukong the skill of fighting and escaping, and instigating him to cause trouble, and not allowing him to say his name, what was he afraid of?
Yes, Bodhi Grandmaster was also afraid, after Sun Wukong showed off his martial arts, the brothers of the master made a noise and quarreled with Bodhi Grandmaster:
"The unconscious shouting alarmed the ancestor, who hurriedly dragged his staff out of the door to ask..."
From the fact that Grandmaster Bodhi hurriedly ran out with his weapon, it can be seen that he really has people who are afraid, and the reason why he drove Sun Wukong down the mountain and let him leave the land of right and wrong may also be a kind of protection.
Four
Of course, Sun Wukong can go to the Lingtai Fangzhi Mountain to learn art, and there are also traces of artificial modification and correction step by step!
For example, shortly after birth, the monkeys quarreled to find a source of stream water, and the key was that this group of monkeys did not have a monkey king. After entering the water curtain hole, the monkeys are no more and no less, just full, and the supplies inside are readily available. Sun Wukong just mentioned that he wanted to get rid of the jurisdiction of The King of Yama, and immediately an old monkey jumped out to point out the direction and guide him to learn art and so on.
In fact, when Sun Wukong was just born, he was a very kind monkey, and he said it himself in the Lingtai Fangzhi Mountain, and he didn't have any temper:
"I have no surname, if people scold me, I am not annoyed, if you beat me, I am not angry, just accompany a gift, a lifetime of sexless." 」
How could such a temperamental monkey, after studying the art from Bodhi Guru for a few years, change his temperament when he returned?
It is also the destruction of the Chaos Demon King, the theft of the proud country, the robbery of the East Sea to grab the treasure, and the entry into the mansion to hook the book of life and death. In fact, the original Sun Wukong is the appearance of Bow Ma Wen, conscientious, step by step, Tong Shu is not deceived, and people and animals are harmless:
"The bow horse does not sleep day and night, nourishing the horse. Dancing during the day, watching over the night..."
But every step he took, there were always all kinds of monkeys, demons, and even little gods who came out to provoke him and stimulate him!
For example, the Chaos Demon King, a Demon King, how could he covet a few stone bowls, stone tables, stone stools, and a few small monkeys in the HuaguoShan Water Curtain Cave; when he went to the East China Sea to get a weapon, it was four old monkeys who threw it up, and the Dinghai God Needle was proposed by the Dragon Mother and the Dragon Girl to Sun Wukong; saying that the Bow Horse Wen Guan was small, and that the ones who deliberately provoked Sun Wukong were a few small officials of the Imperial Horse Supervisor, who did not pick up the wind early and did not pick up the wind late, and they all worked for half a month before they remembered to pick up the wind...
Five
Even more bizarre are the black and white impermanence that came to seduce Sun Wukong's soul, and the one-horned ghost king who suddenly appeared and gave him an ochre yellow robe.
Sun Wukong himself knew very well that The Bodhi Patriarch had taught himself the art of immortality, leaving aside natural disasters, at least the underground government had no right to hook himself:
"My old grandson is beyond the Three Realms, not in the Five Elements, no longer under his jurisdiction, how can he be obscure, and dare to seduce me?"
In fact, the black and white impermanence of Sun Wukong is false, if it is a ghost, it is not a flesh, how can it be beaten into meat sauce?
"The monkey king was annoyed, and he pulled out the treasure in his ear, pretended to be thick, the bowl was thick, raised his hand slightly, and beat the two hooked dead people into meat sauce."
There is also the one-horned ghost king, Sun Wukong when bowing Ma Wen's matter, only the people in the heavenly court know, how a one-horned ghost king pinched so accurately. One day in the sky, one year underground, Sun Wukong did not come back for fifteen years, but today the front foot arrived home, and the one-horned ghost king on the back foot came to the door?
When he came to the door, he actually brought an ochre yellow robe, which was a dress that only the emperor could wear, and he didn't explicitly persuade Sun Wukong to rebel?
Moreover, knowing that Sun Wukong was embarrassed to mention the position of Bow Ma Wen, the one-horned ghost king also deliberately poured salt on the wound:
"The king has this miraculous power, how to raise horses with him?" Just be a great saint, why not? ”
Moreover, did the One-Horned Ghost King later die in battle?
No, after he completed his mission, he was quietly recalled by the Heavenly Court, and even disappeared with the Seventy-two Cave Demon King, the key is that not a single monkey was taken away:
"This morning the marshals will fight with the Heavenly King, and the Seventy-two Cave Demon King and the One-Horned Demon King will be captured by the gods, and I will wait to escape."
Six
This is strange, Bodhi Ancestor cultivated Sun Wukong in order to go to the Heavenly Court to make trouble, why is the Heavenly Court still so cooperative?
Especially the Jade Emperor, for Sun Wukong that called a good, that is called a courtesy, Sun Wukong was just born when he was shocked, he also made a special decree, do not disturb the stone monkey.
After Sun Wukong went to the heavenly court, under the premise of not paying homage to the Jade Emperor, he also excused the monkey:
"That Sun Wukong is a netherworld demon immortal, who has just attained humanity, does not know the courtesy, and forgives sins."
Even, under the premise of knowing that Sun Wukong had made trouble many times, he also deliberately promoted him to qi tian dasheng, and also handed over the errand of guarding the peach orchard to him, which can be called the big news of the three realms.
You must know that later, the colorful fairy went to the peach orchard to pick peaches, and specially told the land of the gatekeeper that she came at the behest of the Queen Mother's mother, but the land was blocked:
"Xian'e and live. This year is no better than in previous years, the Jade Emperor sent Qi Tian Dasheng to supervise here, and it must be reported to the Great Sage to learn that he dared to open the garden. ”
You know, the peach orchard has always been the territory of the Queen Mother," and even the peach trees there were cultivated by the Queen Mother herself:
"It's not a common species in Xuandu, but the Queen Mother of Yaochi cultivates herself."
Letting the monkeys take care of the peach orchard is obviously to lure the wolf into the room, this is to obviously declare war on the Queen Mother, this is obviously disgusted that the heavenly court is not chaotic enough.
In fact, we also have to understand that the Jade Emperor deliberately built the Qitian Grand Saint Mansion next to the Peach Orchard, and as a result, this stupid monkey, who has lived here for more than a hundred years, did not step into the Peach Orchard.
You must know that when he was in the Lingtai Fangzhi Mountain, this monkey did not go to the back mountain to pick peaches to eat, but when he arrived at the Heavenly Garden, this guy visited the door every day, specifically looking for the god to chat, and he did not see the peach orchard in front of him.
Seven
If it were not for the fact that the land of the peach orchard deliberately emphasized the efficacy of the peach to Sun Wukong, presumably Sun Wukong is really not rare in this thing, after all, in his flower and fruit mountain, all kinds of peach trees grow all over the mountain.
Since Sun Wukong was specially cultivated by the Bodhi Ancestor to make trouble, then the Jade Emperor connived at Sun Wukong to create his own rebellion, which is logically unreasonable, so what is the truth?
When Sun Wukong stole the peach, the Peach Conference of the Queen Mother was being held, and all kinds of great gods were invited, but among the people who came, there was no leader of the Lingshan Mountain, that is, the figure of the Buddha of Rulai, and there were no other Lingshan gods and Buddhas except guanyin bodhisattvas.
However, the ancient Buddha who burned the lamp came, but secretly brought the Taishang Laojun and all the boys guarding the Bagua Furnace to the third floor:
"It turned out that the old man and the ancient Buddha who burned the lamp preached on the Zhuling Dan platform on the three-story high pavilion, and all the fairy children, immortal generals, immortal officials, and immortal officials stood around to listen to the lecture."
After Sun Wukong escaped from the Bagua Furnace, he fought all the way to the Ling Xiao Treasure Hall, and the Jade Emperor let the great gods in the Heavenly Court not use it, preferring to go near and far, and specially sent someone to invite the Buddha to come and lower the demon.
However, the Buddha was unaware of everything that happened in the heavenly court, and asked Chincha, who had come to preach the message, to tell sun wukong's deeds on purpose, and when he was leaving, he said to the bodhisattvas:
"Ru waited here to sit firmly in the Dharma Hall, and Hugh had to mess up his Zen position, waiting for me to refine the demons and save the car."
It was strange what had involved the Buddha's energy, leaving him unaware of what was happening in the heavenly court. Moreover, the Dharma Hall was the place where the Buddha preached the sutras, and he left, so why did he let the bodhisattvas stop messing up the Zen position, and the tone was still so harsh?
Eight
You know, Sun Wukong made a big fuss about the Heavenly Palace, and there are still other people in Lingshan who know, such as Vilambo Bodhisattva, Sun Wukong still wonders, how does this bodhisattva know himself:
"When you were making a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace, your image was passed on in the field, and who didn't know it, that one didn't know?"
Pudi refers to the mortal world, and the Spirit Mountain also belongs to the mortal world. One situation was that only rulai buddha did not know at that time, and the other situation was that after rulai buddha descended to the demon, he came back to speak and spread it in the spirit mountain.
However, listening to the tone of Vilambhava Bodhisattva, presumably it is praise for Sun Wukong, and if the Buddha himself said it, then it must be about his own greatness, rather than elevating Sun Wukong and degrading himself.
Thinking again that Zhen Yuanzi must worship Sun Wukong, at least it can be explained that Sun Wukong's big fuss in the Heavenly Palace was not a disgraceful thing, otherwise, Sun Wukong himself would not have encountered a monster and had to brag about it.
In the hundreds of years after the Buddha surrendered to Sun Wukong, he never went out of the Spirit Mountain, let alone went to the Southern Ganbu Continent to have a look, otherwise, he would not have said such words:
"But the one who is in the south of the tribe, who is greedy and happy, who kills more and fights more, is the so-called fierce field of tongue and tongue, and is not the evil sea."
During the reign of Li Shimin, the Tang Dynasty, the Southern Ganbu Prefecture was not like this, otherwise, the monks who practiced in the West Niuhe Zhou would not have envied the Tang monks, saying that they ate fasting and reciting the Buddha in order to support their birth to the Tang Dynasty.
And if the Buddha's concept had not been deliberately lying, it would have been hundreds, or even thousands of years. Indeed, the Tang Dynasty pushed forward more than five hundred years, just in the period of Wang Mang's usurpation of the Han Dynasty, when the East and the West han bordered, the world was indeed a bit chaotic.
Nine
So, what is the reason why the Buddha has not left the Spirit Mountain for so many years, and he has not known much about the major events of the world?
This has to be found in the original book:
"Since the ambush of the ape An Tian, I do not know the year and month, and it is expected that there will be half a thousand years in the mortal world." This is the day of Meng Qiuwang, I have a treasure pot, the pot is equipped with a hundred kinds of strange flowers, a thousand exotic fruits and other things, and Ru and other people enjoy this Obon meeting, how? ”
According to the Buddha, Sun Wukong was suppressed for five hundred years, and he did not come out of the Spirit Mountain for five hundred years. This time, the Obon Meeting was held after his own treasure pot, and it was held at the time when he went to find the scripture taker, which seemed to be the first session.
Wait a minute!
Didn't the Obon Meeting take place hundreds of years ago?
When tang monks and disciples entered the Wuzhuang Temple, Zhen Yuanzi told Qingfeng Mingyue that Tang Monk was the reincarnation of the golden cicada:
"Five hundred years ago, I met him at the Lan Bon Meeting, he once passed on tea with his own hands, and the Buddha respected me, so this is for the deceased."
Obon will be a Buddhist event, you are a town yuanzi is a land immortal, how can you also participate in the meeting?
Even Qingfeng Mingyue knew that the Tao was different and did not conspire with each other, and even a little hated the monk:
"Confucius Ziyun, the Tao is different, not conspiring with each other. I'm waiting for Taiyi Xuanmen, how to get to know that monk very well! ”
This also shows that Zhen Yuanzi's participation in the Obon meeting is a relatively secret matter. At least in the past five hundred years, he had not spoken to his disciples, or rather, five hundred years ago, their sect had broken with the Buddhists.
Isn't that a strange point in time?
Zhen Yuanzi was not invited to hold a peach festival in the Heavenly Garden, but he ran to open a bon meeting with the golden cicada, and there was no mention of the Participation of the Buddha at this meeting.
Ten
Combined with so many doubts, I think everyone has an answer in their hearts, that is, five hundred years ago, Lingshan actually encountered trouble.
Because after that happened a lot of things that we can't explain:
For example, Grandmaster Bodhi suddenly disappeared, along with his disciples; Master Wuchao was also a buddhist monk, so he ran to live alone in the wilderness; the ancestor of Zhenyuanzi Di Immortals stayed in wuzhuangguan in the white tiger ridge with eight hundred miles of quicksand in the east and white bones all over the west; and Vilampa Bodhisattva, who suddenly did not ask about political affairs and closed the door to guests; and Rulai Buddha's uncle Dapeng Bird, suddenly flew to the lion camel country and planted his heels there...
This also shows that the Lingshan Buddhas are not monolithic, they have internal conflicts of interest, and there are small teams doing things.
This is not without premonitions, for example, when the Buddha was cultivating the Golden Body of the Six Zhangs, it was the weakest time, and he was suddenly swallowed by a peacock of unknown origin:
"When the peacock is born, it is the most evil, it can eat people, and it sucks people up forty-five miles." I was on the top of a snowy mountain, cultivating a golden body, and he had already sucked me down. ”
The temper of the Buddha was definitely trying to trouble the peacock, but he was persuaded by the Buddhas:
"If you want to hurt his life, when you are persuaded by the Buddhas, you will hurt the peacock like i hurt my mother, so I will leave him at the Spirit Mountain Meeting..."
Even this kind of fight involved Taishang Laojun, and even he had to carry the Diamond Circle to defend himself when he left the Hangu Pass.
Then we have reason to believe that what must have happened to the Obon meeting that the Buddha did not participate in was one of the reasons why the golden cicada was later demoted to the mortal world by the Buddha.
After all, human nature is difficult to change, such as the reincarnation of the golden cicada Tang monk, who treats money very lightly:
"We are walking monks, when we meet zhuangzhuang and ask for fasting everywhere, how dare we receive gold and silver and wealth... If I am a monk, if I have received the slightest bribe, it will be difficult to repair! ”
Eleven
However, the Buddha sent monks to sheweiguo to chant the sutras, and only received three liters of three buckets of gold grains of rice, saying that the scriptures were sold to lowly people. Even the golden cicada came to learn from him and asked him for personnel in order to correct his view that he did not want money.
In fact, at that meeting, there was a high probability of discussing the development direction of Lingshan, such as the Buddha's purpose was to increase incense, that is, to ask for money, but others disagreed, and even challenged the Buddha.
This was the reason why he had been staying out of lingshan and leading his disciples to sit firmly in the Fa formation to prevent the lingshan coup.
The Jade Emperor had long wanted to cut the domain, but without a legitimate reason, he could not adjust the Buddha. Only by taking advantage of the turmoil in the Heavenly Court could he give the order to summon the Buddha to leave the Spirit Mountain in order to serve his old lair.
After the Buddha surrendered to Sun Wukong, he was also anxious to return to the Spirit Mountain, and the Jade Emperor also obstructed him in every way:
If the Buddha destroyed the demon monkeys, he summoned Azuma and Gaya to the Western Elysium. From time to time, the canopy and Tianyou rushed out of the Lingxiao Treasure Hall and said, "Please come and stay less, my Lord will come." ”
But in the end, they were unable to break through the Lingshan defense line, after all, the other bodhisattvas were sitting firmly in the Dharma Hall, casting spells to protect them.
When the Buddha returned, the overall situation was decided, and the opposition forces in Lingshan had no place to stay, so they retreated to the second line, and those who should live in seclusion went to seclusion, and those who should be reborn went to reincarnate, and only then did the Buddha sit firmly:
"Thank you, each shift retreats, each deacon, and the joy and innocence together."
Since then, the Buddha has never asked the bodhisattvas to sit in meditation and not to move around.
Of course, the initiator of the whole incident, that is, the Bodhi Patriarch, lost the cost of resistance and naturally could only disappear.
Of course, there are still many questions that have not been answered, such as who is the Wuchao Zen Master, where Guanyin Bodhisattva stands, how the Queen Mother Niangniang fights back, and why Zhen Yuanzi showed kindness to Guanyin Bodhisattva.
