This skill is the Monkey Hair Divine Skill, on the way to learn the scriptures, Sun Wukong used this skill to the fullest, and when facing difficult monsters, it can be said that it has been tried and tested, and the winning rate is extremely high.
However, there is a question that also haunts our minds, that is, Sun Wukong is originally a stone monkey, where can he pluck his hair? Even if there is hair that can be plucked, but according to the frequency and quantity of his plucking, it is estimated that he will become a bald monkey before he waits for the western sky, is he not afraid of shame?
It wasn't until after reading "Journey to the West" many times that I suddenly realized that Sun Wukong's monkey plucking god skill had a mystery in it.

In fact, the key to the problem is not the stone, but the soul injected into the stone, that is, the gust of wind mentioned in the original book:
"One day it burst open and laid a stone egg, as big as a sphere. Because of the wind, he turned into a stone monkey. All five senses, all limbs. ”
That wind is the movement around the soul that flies in, which is the same as the wrong pig fetus when the canopy marshal reincarnates, the reason is the same, the soul is the canopy marshal, but its body is a pig.
Because the soul is very powerful, the body has changed, so the pig has become a pig, the stone monkey, also became a monkey, with all five features, all four limbs, and naturally hair on the body.
This is also the reason why When Bodhi Grandmaster first met Sun Wukong, he said that he was like a monkey, and if he was a bald monkey, he should be called a small hippopotamus:
"Although your body is despicable, you are like a pine cone-eating fox."
However, Grandmaster Bodhi did not teach Sun Wukong the divine skill of plucking monkey hair, this skill is indeed a trick that Sun Wukong understood without a teacher. Sun Wukong did not use this skill when he was on the Lingtai Fangzhi Mountain, but he used it not long after being driven out of the mountain gate by the Bodhi Ancestor.
At that time, Sun Wukong returned to Huaguo Mountain, only to find that his little monkeys were being bullied by a monster called the Chaos Demon King, so he chased all the way to the Water Dirty Cave to seek justice from the Chaos Demon King:
"Goku saw him fierce, even if he was outside, he pulled out a handful of hair, threw it in his mouth and chewed it up, and looked at the sky and spewed out, shouting: 'Change!' That is, it becomes three or two hundred small monkeys, surrounded by clusters. ”
Two
So, why did Sun Wukong know this trick of plucking monkey hair without a teacher, which is also explained in the book:
"It turns out that people have immortal bodies, and there is no way out of the gods." I don't know that since this monkey king became the Dao, he has eighty-four thousand hairy feathers on his body, and the roots can change, and he should do whatever he wants. ”
The meaning of this sentence is that after the monkey has been incarnated as an immortal, there are not so many rules and regulations for the art of change, nor is it a trick of death, but it can be done at will.
After that, Sun Wukong was on the way to pluck monkey hair, and he never returned...
After killing the Chaos Demon King through the Monkey Hair Divine Gong, Sun Wukong did the same, and then ran to the Proud Country to conjure up a bunch of small monkeys and emptyed the people's arsenal:
"Good monkey king, that is, pluck a handful of hairs, chew it in the mouth, spray it out, chant mantras, and cry 'change!' Transformed into a thousand little monkeys, all of them moving and robbing indiscriminately. ”
Later, in the face of the pursuit of the Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals, Sun Wukong once again performed the Monkey Hair Divine Skill, repelling Nezha and the Five Heavenly Kings:
"When the Great Sage saw that it was getting late, he plucked out a handful of hairs, threw them in his mouth, chewed them up and squirted them out, and cried: 'Change!' A thousand great saints have changed..."
Including the Battle of the Spider Spirit and the Centipede Spirit, Monkey King also used this skill:
"But the walker went outside the Yellow Flower Temple, took off seventy hairs on his tail, blew out his fairy breath, and shouted: 'Change!' That is, to become seventy little walkers. ”
In fact, there are many similar situations, such as pulling monkey hair to become small monkey against the Yellow Wind King, pulling monkey hair to become small monkey against the green cow spirit, pulling monkey hair into a small monkey to destroy the French imperial relatives shaving the head, plucking monkey hair to become a small monkey to defeat the seven-headed lion essence and so on.
Three
The hair on Sun Wukong's body can turn into something other than a little monkey!
For example, sleepworms, lice, fleas, bed bugs, etc., about sleepworms, Sun Wukong also often uses this trick, such as in the Cave House where the Golden Retriever roared, he changed into sleepy bugs, so that Chunjiao, who was waiting for the Lady of the Golden Palace, quickly fell asleep:
The good walker, spreading his wings, flew straight to the head of the jade-faced fox, plucked out a hair, blew out the fairy breath, and shouted: "Change! "Become a sleepy bug..."
When fighting against the leopard essence, yes, it is the golden leopard that brushed the screen in the circle of friends some time ago, Sun Wukong is pulling out the hair to make a sleepy worm, so that the little leopards in the whole cave house are deeply asleep.
Other small insects are also available, such as when the Golden Retriever roared to sleep, Sun Wukong changed into other disgusting human bugs:
"That is, he plucked out a handful of hairs, chewed them to pieces, gently approached the demon king, put the hairs on him, blew three mouthfuls of fairy qi, and secretly called 'change!' Those hairs turn into three evil things, lice, fleas, and bed bugs..."
Of course, in addition to living creatures, Sun Wukong can also change the millihair into a dead thing, for example, when facing the King of the Golden and Silver Horns on Pingding Mountain, Sun Wukong deceived people's delicate ghosts and clever insects, and used the millihair to change a fake gourd, deceiving people's purple gold red gourd and mutton fat jade net bottle.
In the lion camel country, Sun Wukong also drilled into the belly of the lion essence, turned a rope with a hair, and tied the heart of the lion essence:
"Plucked a hair from the tail, blew out the fairy breath, and shouted: 'Change!' That is, to become a rope..."
Also in the Golden Retriever Roar, Sun Wukong also used the hair to change a fake purple golden bell and deceive the real treasure of others.
Four
However, according to the frequency and quantity of Monkey Hair plucked by Sun Wukong, even if he had forty-seven thousand hairs, he couldn't stand pulling it like this, so why didn't he become a bald monkey?
In fact, Sun Wukong is a very shrewd monkey, he ah, has a habit, this habit accompanies his entire monkey life.
The habit is that no matter where he goes, he loves to keep accounts!
Before he became the Monkey King, people had secretly counted how many monkeys there were in the entire Huaguo Mountain. After he entered the water curtain cave, the first thing he did was to calculate whether this cave house could hold all the monkeys:
"Inside, it is wide, and it can accommodate thousands of people."
After Sun Wukong returned from his studies, the first thing he did was still to gather all the monkeys out and line up for roll call:
"The next day, it was still platooning. Goku gathers a group of monkeys, counting more than 47,000 mouths. ”
Even later, when he was fighting against the Celestial General, at the end of each battle, he would gather the monkeys and name them to see if any of the monkeys had been captured. After pointing out the number of monkeys, I also advised other crying little monkeys, we monkeys are not less, why are you crying?
Even when he arrived in the Heavenly Court and became a bow Ma Wen, Sun Wukong did not change this problem, and the first thing he did when he took office was to take stock:
"In prison, he gathered the supervisors, deputies, pawns, soldiers, officials of all sizes, etc., to find out the affairs of the superintendent... The monkey king looked at the book and pointed out the number of horses. ”
Later, when he went to the peach orchard, the first thing he did was to gather the land out, let him take a good look at the number of peaches in the garden, and after listening to the introduction of the land, he was not at ease, and he had to personally order it before returning home:
"On the same day, I identified a tree and looked at the pavilion and returned home."
Five
Even, Sun Wukong did not miss the opportunity to help others audit, and in the gap of the battle with erlang god, he also ran over to the accounts of erlang god:
"He sat in the middle, lit the incense, and saw Li Hu's three animals, Zhang Long's promise of Baofu, and Zhao Jia's documents for asking for a son..."
After he was hooked to the mansion by black and white impermanence, Shun took the help of the mansion to straighten out the accounts:
"Goku took the book and put the monkey genus and the like, but all the famous ones were checked."
Therefore, the old people often say that this child monkey spirit monkey essence is to praise him for calculating the account, and like Sun Wukong, the account is clear.
Because Sun Wukong loves to keep accounts and cherishes his own things very much, it is difficult to take out some things once they reach his hands.
For example, Guanyin Bodhisattva once gave him three life-saving hairs, and then Sun Wukong suffered a great loss at the Red Child's place, and came to ask the bodhisattva for help to lower the demon, and the bodhisattva said, You have to take something as collateral.
As a result, Sun Wukong cried poor, what kind of cotton cloth is your old man sent me, will not take it back again, right? This tiger skin skirt is what I use to hide my shame, and it is not valuable, and this golden hoop stick is for my self-defense, how can I give it to you?
Guanyin Bodhisattva said, I don't want those things from you, I want the three hairs that I gave you, even one of them:
"You monkey! You will not pluck a dime, and it will be difficult to give up the good money that Taught me. ”
Including later, Sun Wukong got a rhino horn, saying that he had come to Lingshan to pay homage to the Buddha, but he did not give it. The Buddha estimated that he could also see it, so he asked the two disciples to ask for personnel, and Sun Wukong also pretended to be confused, not to give, not to give!
Six
Because of Sun Wukong's dime-a-dime personality, he cherishes his hair very much and carefully retracts it every time he uses it!
For example, after the Great War of the Chaos Demon King, Sun Wukong killed into the cave house and recovered the hair:
"Lead the crowd into the cave and kill all the goblins, big and small, but shake every hair and put them away."
After fighting the spider essence, the same tail is shaken to recover the hairs:
"Hands up, seven spider spirits, beat up... But he shook his tail twice and collected a hair. ”
Similar battles in the back were all the same result, and the hair was not pulled down once, and all were recovered. Even the hair that changed into a purple gold red gourd was not pinched into the hands of the Silver Horn King like CCTV's "Journey to the West", but Sun Wukong later took advantage of the fine ghosts and clever insects that were not ready to be recycled:
"Shake your body and put away the hairs that have turned into gourds, so that the two demons have empty hands."
Including in Che Chi Guo, Sun Wukong gave each of the monks a hair, saying that as long as they shouted "Qi Tian Dasheng", there would be monkeys to help them. It seems to be sent out permanently, in fact, how can Sun Wukong be so generous, he said when he left:
"Don't go far away and listen to the news in my city. But when there was a list of recruited monks, they went into the city to return me a hair. ”
In fact, after being rescued, the monks did come to the city in a group and returned the hair:
"But he said that the monk who had lost his life had heard that there was a list of recruited monks, and everyone was happy, and they all went into the city to find Sun Dasheng and pay him a little bit of thanksgiving."
That is to say, every time Sun Wukong fought through the Monkey Hair Divine Gong, he had to take a good look at the account and ensure that forty-seven thousand hairs, not a lot.
Seven
However, there is also a question that arises, because every time Sun Wukong plucks the monkey hair, he has to put it in his mouth and chew it, why should he chew it, and can the crushed hair be restored?
Many people will have a misunderstanding, they will think that the little monkeys that Sun Wukong conjures through hairs are all equipped with the same skills as Sun Wukong, but in fact, they are not!
Sun Wukong's monkey plucking hair god skill has drawbacks, that is, the strength of the monkeys conjured by monkey hair is far inferior to that of Sun Wukong himself. Moreover, the more the monkey hair is chewed, the more monkeys it conjures up, and at the same time, the weaker the strength.
The monkeys conjured up from the complete monkey hair are small walkers, and the spider spirits are powerless to face them:
"At this time, seventy little walkers, hold down seven spiders, and there will be no release."
And the little monkeys that are made out of chewing up the monkey hair, such as when fighting against the Chaos Demon King, will only pinch their noses and insert their eyes and bite their thighs:
"Hug hug, pull pull, drill crotch, wrench kick, kick and pull hair, pick eyes, twist nose, lift drum to make ..."
In fact, in Journey to the West, even if you are a big guy, you still obey the law of conservation of energy. If you want to live forever, naturally there will be people with short lives, and if you want to change items, there will naturally be people who have fewer items, and the real can't be fake, and the fake can't be true.
Therefore, if you want to change into a body, then naturally each body has divided the energy of the body.
This is also when Sun Wukong faces powerful monsters, he directly plucks the hair and blows the monkey, and needs some miscellaneous things, or only rely on the number of things to win, he tries to chew the monkey hair into pieces, and then blow it out.
Because it is chewed, the monkeys that come out are large and small, and the strength is also different:
"Turn into a thousand little monkeys, all of them move and rob randomly, forcefully take five or seven pieces, and take three or two pieces with small force..."
Eight
Why did Sun Wukong recycle the hair clearly, why did he chew it clearly, so why did he blow his breath?
On this question, we get the answer to the yuhuazhou section, where Sun Wukong took in three apprentices, and the three prince apprentices did not worship the master before they were like this:
The sand monk threw out his staff and leaned against the wall. The second prince and the third prince jumped up and took it, just like dragonflies shaking stone pillars, one by one earning red heads and red faces, and they did not want to move half a cent. ”
If the three princes want to learn the art, do they have to practice from the basic skills like Sun Wukong did when they were masters, cutting firewood, carrying water, sweeping the floor every day, plus reciting the scriptures, and practicing diligently?
Not so complicated, Sun Wukong only needs to blow a breath to solve:
"Secretly recite the mantra, recite the mantra, blow the immortal qi into the hearts of the three of them, take the Yuan God back to the house, pass it on and pass it on, and each of them will be given thousands of strengths..."
It can be seen from this that Sun Wukong's divine skill of plucking monkey hair generally requires five steps:
The first step, plucking the hair, this is very simple, but you can vigorously pluck it from the body.
The second step, put the mouth to chew, this step is not a necessary step, sometimes only need one, or in the face of powerful monsters, you can not chew, otherwise the quality of the small monkeys is uneven, and the skills are slightly worse.
The third step, you need to breathe a breath of immortal qi, this step, is to divide a part of Sun Wukong's Yuanshen to the little monkey.
The fourth step is to chant the mantra, which was mentioned when Sun Wukong taught the three princes, but the spell of changing the monkey hair is relatively simple, just shout "change".
The fifth step is to recycle the millihair, and the chewed milliper can still be restored.
Some people may have doubts, thinking that the hair is chewed up, how can it be so easy to recover?
In fact, as the owner, the exclusive weapon restoration is really too small. At the Little Lei Yin Temple, Sun Wukong once broke the golden spar of Maitreya Buddha, and as a result, Maitreya Buddha repaired it effortlessly:
"The Buddha collected the gold in one place, blew his mouth, chanted the mantra, and immediately returned to the original and restored it, and regained a pair of gold."
Even the two boys of gold and silver turned into water in the purple and gold red gourd of Taishang Laojun, and when Laojun got the treasure and recited a mantra, the two boys could be resurrected in situ.
Therefore, Sun Wukong's hair is chewed up and then restored, which is really too small!
This may be the origin of a dime, after all, Sun Wukong is a dry audit, how can he let go of a hair, otherwise, he will really become a bald monkey.
