On the morning of December 26, the results of important archaeological discoveries in Zhejiang in 2021 were finally revealed.
At the same time, the new book launch of "Archaeology in Zhejiang - The Story Behind Ten Thousand Years" was also held at the Zhejiang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology.
The author of this new book is none other than my colleague, Qianjiang Evening News reporter Ma Li.
Readers and friends who often read archaeological reports must be familiar with this name, Ma Li has been deeply engaged in the field of archaeology for ten years, seeing through things and people, and constantly presenting the good stories of Zhejiang archaeology and Zhejiang archaeologists vividly in front of readers.
Previously, in addition to her busy daily work, she had published two books, "A Small Shovel and Five Thousand Years - Liangzhu in the Eyes of Archaeologists" and "Seeing 5000 Years - Chronicles of liangzhu Kingdom", telling about the five thousand years of Liangzhu in her eyes, the latter also won the 2020 "China Good Book" and the 2020 "Spring Wind Yue Reading List" Zhejiang Edition Good Book Award.

As the name suggests, the book uses 24 news reports to describe the people and events of Zhejiang archaeology, showing the specific process of many important archaeologies in Zhejiang Province.

This set of samples was jointly completed by Zhejiang cultural relics archaeologists and cultural journalist Ma Li.
Whether it is the well-known "10,000 years up the mountain", "5,000 years of Liangzhu", "1,000 years of southern Song Dynasty", or the obscure ruins of Wayaoli, Tantou kiln site, and Haitang remains, through this book, readers can feel the plump image of archaeologists, the rich stories behind the excavations and the rich heritage of Zhejiang.

Modern Chinese archaeology started from Yangshao Village in 1921 and has now gone through a hundred years of ups and downs.
Zhejiang archaeology began in 1936, starting from the formal field archaeological excavation of the Liangzhu site presided over by Shi Xin, a Liangzhu person in Yuhang, and Zhejiang archaeology has also been deeply cultivated for more than 80 years.
From the 10,000-year-old Shangshan to the 1,000-year-old Song Yun, Zhejiang archaeology has filled the gap of the Paleolithic Age in Zhejiang million years, and established the archaeological cultural genealogy and chronology from the 10,000-year-old Shangshan culture to the Bronze Age.
"Archaeology in Zhejiang - The Story Behind Ten Thousand Years", a collection of essays edited by the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and bringing together the in-depth reports of archaeologist Ma Li in the past ten years, is not only a record of Zhejiang's archaeological achievements, but also a tribute to the centenary of Chinese archaeology.

Since 2019, Marie has published three popular archaeological books. Behind such "high yields" is the accumulation of day after day, year after year.
In 2012, Ma Li entered the Qianjiang Evening News as a cultural reporter, and the first news he ran was Liangzhu Archaeology, which recorded the yuhang Yujia Mountain prehistoric settlement site and rated the top ten new archaeological discoveries in the country this year.
On April 18 of that year, she went to the archaeological site for the first time, and since then she has formed an indissoluble relationship with Liangzhu and archaeology.
In the past ten years, Ma Li has gone deep into the front line of archaeology, leaving footprints at almost every archaeological site in Zhejiang Province; interviewing front-line archaeologists, obtaining first-hand information on archaeological work, and then accurately and quickly reporting.
Through her words, the mysterious excavation site, the silent excavation artifacts, the humble archaeologists, and the interesting historical knowledge have gradually come to the front of the stage from behind the scenes and are gradually known by a wide range of readers.
Under years of follow-up interviews, Ma Li has become a close friend of Liu Bin, Wang Mingda, Wang Ningyuan and other famous archaeologists in Zhejiang Province.
