However, according to the excavations, the owner of this tomb must be extremely prominent and noble, and if it is not a royal family, it is also an important local dignitary.
why? Although the tomb has undergone generations of looting and limited information remains, some of the remaining cultural relics still reveal the supreme glory of the owner of the tomb. For example, the appearance of the decorative components of the Que Lou Fei Tian has locked the identity of the tomb owner in a very small range. Due to the official documents of the Southern Song Dynasty, the use of flying sky in the four corners of the tomb que lou must be more than three pin officials. A pottery kiln site was also found in the cemetery, indicating that the tomb was built while firing building components.
As a result, relevant experts circled the scope of the tomb owner to several high-ranking figures in the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty, such as jia xiangdao, a famous traitor of the Southern Song Dynasty, and Zhao Xiyuan, the biological father of Emperor Lizong of the Southern Song Dynasty. However, it is strange that only six kilometers away from the Mausoleum of the Southern Song Emperor hides such a large-scale tomb, but the relevant historical materials of the Southern Song Dynasty and the local history of Shaoxing are completely undocumented.

However, although the identity is unknown, the excavations from the lanruo temple tomb are still wonderful. In particular, those architectural structures that have survived the ravages of time, such as wadang, beast heads, set beasts, crane pattern bricks, lion figurine heads, flame components, hanging fish, pedestal fragments, etc., are exquisite and abnormal, revealing the glory of the past everywhere.

Therefore, the excavation and display of above-ground cemeteries is extremely important for the study of tombs in the Southern Song Dynasty.
The Lanruo Temple Tomb is the largest, highest specification and most complete layout of the known Southern Song Dynasty tombs, which is of extremely important exemplary significance. Its astonishment lies in the fact that more than 20,000 pieces of ceramic building components excavated around the burial chamber are more concentrated, simple in age and less disturbed, providing the most real and comprehensive imagination genes for future generations.
Judging from the current exposed area, the Lanruo Temple Cemetery sits north and faces south, consisting of at least four large terraces (which can be divided into nine small terraces from south to north), covering an area of at least 12,000 square meters, which is two to three times or even larger than the area of the Song Shi family cemetery in Ningbo Dongqian Lake. Shi Miyuan was the minister of power during the song lizong period of Song Ningzong, his father Shi Hao was a famous courtier during the song xiaozong period, and his nephew Shi Songzhi was the power minister of the Song lizong period, and the Shi family was "one door and three ministers", so the tomb of the Shi family in Dongqian Lake was of high rank.

After the dissection and analysis of the cemetery doorway and the existing piers (foundations made of stone, tile and soil layers) at the archaeological site, it was found that there were eight piers in the east-west direction of the main hall, which represented a row of eight pillars, with seven bays between the columns and columns, and four piers in the north-south direction, indicating three deep rooms. Therefore, it can be concluded that the main hall of the Lan ruo Temple Cemetery is seven rooms wide and three deep. Zhou Bida's "Records of Siling" records that the Siling Tomb "has one temple gate, three four rafters, and two deep and two zhangs", which shows that the main hall of the Song Gaozong Cemetery is not three rooms wide. However, the Lanruo Temple Cemetery Hall has seven bays, which is the largest single cemetery building seen in the Southern Song Dynasty.
This cemetery is very well-chosen, followed by Qinglong Mountain, with slight ridges on both sides, and a small stream flowing in front of it, facing two mountains, this "embrace" is a Jiangnan-style feng shui site selection, which is obviously different from the Southern Song Dynasty imperial mausoleum system.
Finally, head back to Lan Ruo Temple. At that time, due to the archaeology of the tomb, the reservoir no longer entered the water, the water level dropped, and a building site was exposed on one side of the edge, that is, Lan ruo Temple. At present, it can be seen that it should be a three-entry courtyard, and the stone hom wrapping edge left behind is consistent with the practice of the cemetery ruins that have been found, and the relics collected on the surface have continued from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Ming and Qing dynasties, and it is speculated that this place is likely to be a tomb temple given by the cemetery.
