Professor Deng Baojian of Beijing Normal University, the calligraphy works are amazing!

Is it difficult to insist on doing something you love for a long time?

The answer is: hard! The reason why everyone advocates self-discipline now is because the world is currently tempted to too many, it is easy to be interfered with by the outside world, and over time they will abandon what they love.

For many people, picking up a brush to write in this digital era may seem very "old-fashioned", in fact, this is just a symptom, the frontier of science also has its own "ancient", calligraphy development is still constantly creating "new". Although today's calligraphers, like the ancients, pick up a brush and write, they have already created a creation that belongs to this era. The interpretation of art history and new artistic creation are inseparable, and artists need to constantly recall the ancient times in order to have new creations.

The artist we invited today not only has a superb level of calligraphy, but also made great contributions to the development of inherited culture for future generations, he is Deng Baojian, professor of the Department of Calligraphy at the School of Art and Media of Beijing Normal University. A calligrapher who has always insisted on doing what he likes.

The evolution of the word "book", "book" refers to the book, such as books, picture books ancient books made of bamboo compendium. Teacher Deng first wrote the word "high", and the horizontal starting pen was followed by a little closing pen, which was more coherent, so he used a counter-edge to start the pen. The horizontal folding hook uses a circle turn, and the horizontal fold of the "mouth" inside uses a square fold, which forms a contrast.

The beginning of the word "wen" is also a little horizontal, to make them change. Because it is written in large characters, the horizontal character of "Wen" appears thick and powerful, and the foot is different from the text.

The teacher wrote a variant here, which is different from the way we write it now. What is a variant? That is, their sounds and meanings are exactly the same, but they are written differently.

Teacher Deng said that when creating art, he should consider the works he created himself. Like the four characters of the "Gaowen Dashu", there are four horizontals that are very eye-catching, and they must be distinguished in terms of length, weight, and form.

"Emperor" is a hieroglyph, and some people think that it resembles the shape of a flower peduncle. "Emperor" refers to the gods and emperors, and also extends to the emperor and monarch of the human world.

"Wangdi Crying Crane" is an allusion, according to legend, during the Warring States period, Du Yu, the king of the Shu kingdom, called Wangdi, because of the merit of the turtle spirit to control the flood, so Du Yu gave up the throne to him. Du Yu has since gone into hiding. When he left, it was February, and the birds were chirping. The Shu people remembered him and called zizhi a cuckoo. There is also a saying that Du Yu's soul transformed into a cuckoo. Li Shangyin has a poem called "Wangdi Chunxin Tuo Cuckoo"
