But precisely because the core of the Three Kingdoms lies in Jingzhou, Liu Qi has become a pawn, and everyone is forcing him step by step to the end of the road. The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms records that Qi every desires to conspire with Liang to be self-satisfied, and Liang refuses to be plugged and does not paint with him. Qi Nai will travel to the back garden, go up to the tall building, drink and feast, let people go to the ladder, because the light says: "Today is not up to the sky, not to the ground, words out of the mouth, into my ears, can you say not?" Liang replied, "Don't you see that Shen Sheng is in danger on the inside, and his ears are outside and he is at peace?" "Qi Yi felt enlightened, and the yin rules were calculated." Huang Zu died, and it was concluded that he would be Jiang Xia Taishou.
In fact, this is Zhuge Liang's high move, a good move at the same time to change the fate of the two people. Why? First of all, let's look at the talks between Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang and Zhuge Liang's statement. In fact, Liu Qi took the opportunity to flee abroad to register. In the thirteenth year of Jian'an, Liu Qi took advantage of Huang Zu's death to go to Jiangxia To guard. Unbeknownst to him, however, this was a conspiracy around Jingzhou. Zhuge Liang's most important thing to do in Tujingzhou was to use the battle between the two sons of Jingzhou to divide the Forces of Jingzhou, and at the same time to win Liu Qi into Liu Bei's front.

Therefore, at this time, Liu Qi had actually become Liu Bei's army, and sure enough, in the fourteenth year of Jian'an, Liu Qi died of a very suitable illness, and Liu Bei took the opportunity to seize his military power. The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms records: "Qi fell ill and died, and the group pushed the first lord to be Jingzhou Mu and rule the public security." ”
There are several reasons why Liu Qi is willing to be controlled, one of which is that Zhuge Liang has a life-saving grace for Liu Qi. If it were not for Zhuge Liang's heartfelt words when he went up the stairs, Liu Qi would have died at the hands of his stepmother Cai Shi. The second, Liu Qi, was an extremely filial child, and it is recorded in the Book of Wei: "After the illness of the table, the state of Yu Bei, Gu Said: 'My son is not talented, and the generals are scattered, and after I die, Qing will take Jingzhou.' In this way, in the matter of capturing Jingzhou, Zhuge Liang took care of Liu Bei's benevolent heart and achieved his goal. Therefore, Liu Qi's use has maximized the interests of Liu Bei Group. At the same time, in the subsequent Sun-Liu alliance affairs, Liu Qi also acted as a spokesman, and Zhuge Liang's move can be described as a million profits. In fact, Liu Qi was helpless, initially suppressed by Cai Shi, and had to run away from Jiangxia to save his life. Perhaps Liu Qi really did not understand the significance of Zhuge Liang's move, or perhaps he knew that Zhuge Liang intended to help Liu Bei plot Jingzhou. However, the sensibility of father-son ethics makes Liu Qi forget about the life and death stakes, and only remembers that he wants to see his father. Therefore, at this time, Liu Qi was just a son who wanted to do filial piety around his father, and it was helpless that in the era of the Three Kingdoms, which was a hero, Liu Qi could only be used as a pawn.
