Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled some imported S-class and domestically produced C-class vehicles
Effective immediately, the Company will recall 2,307 domestically produced C-Class (2,095 units) and imported S-Class vehicles (212 units) with production dates from August 31, 2020 to November 10, 2021.
Reason for the recall
Mercedes-Benz cars that have activated and connected to the Mercedes me account will automatically obtain updates on the configuration of the MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system from the background server on a regular basis. Due to the deviation of the background server profile, as part of the regular communication between the vehicle and the vehicle background, the vehicles within the scope of this recall may have received incorrect profiles, resulting in some functions and applications (such as TVs, digital user manuals) on the host display of the vehicle MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system not being disabled as expected when the vehicle is driving. When starting to drive a vehicle or when the occupant actively chooses such a function or application, it is impossible to rule out that the driver is distracted by the driving process and there is a safety hazard.
Workaround
Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will update the MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system configuration for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology (users do not need to go to the store) to eliminate safety hazards.

Dongfeng Yueda Kia Automobile Co., Ltd. recalls some of the fourth generation of Jawa Motors
Effective December 24, 2021, the company will recall some of the fourth-generation Jawa vehicles manufactured between October 27, 2021 and November 19, 2021, for a total of 395 units.
Within the scope of this recall, due to the poor manufacturing of the internal parts of the actuator of the right electric sliding door control assembly, the right electric sliding door is intermittently closed poorly, so that the right electric sliding door may be opened during the driving process of the vehicle, increasing the risk of occupants falling and being injured, and there is a safety hazard.
Dongfeng Yueda Kia Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the gear assembly inside the right electric sliding door actuator for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
Emergency response measures
Before the vehicle recall and maintenance, the occupants should fasten their seat belts as soon as they get on the car; if the right side electric sliding door suddenly opens during the driving process, please park the vehicle on the side of the road and call the Dongfeng Yueda Kia customer service hotline: 400-799-0000 to request support.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalls some imported cars
The following vehicles will be recalled with effect today.
1. Recall a total of 7 imported GLE SUVs and GLS SUVs with production dates from February 9, 2020 to June 2, 2020.
2. Recall a total of 149 IMPORTed CLS, E-Class, GLC SUV and S-Class vehicles with production dates from August 4, 2020 to August 27, 2020.
Due to production deviations, the seats may not be fully assembled or additional parts may be installed in some vehicles within the scope of this recall (1), which may increase the risk of injury to personnel in the event of a collision of vehicles, which does not meet the requirements of relevant national mandatory standards, and there are potential safety hazards.
Due to production deviations in some vehicles within the scope of this recall (2), the locking card point of the electrical plug of the side impact sensor may not be qualified, and the possibility of the joint of the side impact sensor being loosened during the life cycle of the vehicle cannot be ruled out. If a vehicle has a side impact, this may cause the occupant restraint system to be activated delayed, resulting in a decrease in the restraint protection performance, an increased risk of occupant injury, and a safety hazard.
For vehicles within the scope of the recall (1), Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will inspect the seats on the affected vehicles through authorized dealers and perform the necessary rework of unqualified seats free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
For vehicles within the scope of the recall (ii), Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will check the card point of the side impact sensor on the door of the affected vehicle free of charge through the authorized dealer, and if it is missing, replace the side impact sensor to eliminate the safety hazard.
