Ding Jun, who graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Northwest Normal University in 1994 and majored in Chinese painting, has been engaged in art education in Jiuquan for more than 20 years, not only cultivating a large number of art talents, but also making positive contributions to promoting the development of Jiuquan's fine arts industry.

In recent years, Ding Jun has actively exerted his professional expertise and devoted himself to the study of seal calligraphy, and 3 oracle bone works created by him have been collected by the China Oracle Bone And Character Museum, and 2 oracle bone works have won the highest award of the China Book Association Member Works Exhibition. In his work, he poured his feelings for the times, the motherland and the people into his artistic creation, and used shocking works to depict the new era, write a new journey, and tell the story of the thousand-year-old jade wine spring. Relying on the Hantang Art Museum and the Ink Hantang Platform, he is committed to the brand building of "Ink Hantang", vigorously carrying out professional training in calligraphy and painting, lectures and sending calligraphy and painting to the grass-roots level, benefiting more than 30,000 people; holding nearly 500 calligraphy and painting public lecture halls, guiding students to participate in calligraphy and painting exhibitions at or above the provincial level, more than 100 people, 14 people at the national level, of which 67 people joined the Provincial Book Association and the Art Association; organized calligraphers and painters to carry out calligraphy and painting delivery activities in Jiuquan 7 counties and urban areas 20 times, and more than 50 Spring Festival activities. He donated more than 400 calligraphy and painting works to the masses, and led the members of the Ink Han and Tang Dynasties to hold 70 sessions of calligraphy art creation, exchange, public welfare lectures and other activities, which attracted widespread attention in the society.

In recent years, Ding Jun has planned and undertaken 11 exhibitions of various types of calligraphy and painting, and in cooperation with the Municipal Federation of Literature and Other Departments, he has repeatedly held calligraphy lectures on "Hanmo Heirloom, Danqing Cast Dreams" into the campus public welfare activities; planned and held a series of exhibition and performance activities of jiuquan jiafengguan of "Striving for a New Era and Praising New China with Affection"; organized members of "Ink Hantang" to hold "Hanjian Searching for Roots - Entering Juyan Caifeng Activity"; undertook 3 exhibitions of calligraphy and fine art works celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. There were 5 series of calligraphy and painting exhibitions to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and many activities such as "celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and Welcoming the National Day" were held for calligraphy and painting exchanges.

In terms of entrepreneurship and innovation, Ding Jun actively founded the Hanfeng Printing Society, prepared for the establishment of the Jiuquan Chinese Painting Society, and carried out exchanges, seminars and dating activities on a regular basis; helped establish the Municipal Young Calligraphers Association, which built a good communication platform for young calligraphers; helped establish the Jiuquan Hanfeng Academy and Jiuquan Rulin Academy.

In recent years, Ding Jun has twice been rated as the leading talent of Jiuquan City, and won the honors of "Excellent Talent of Jiuquan City", "Advanced Individual of Gansu Calligraphers Association" and "Outstanding Contribution Award of Gansu Provincial Committee of The Advancement of Democracy".
