IT Home learned that the first phase of the Xiaomi Smart Factory in Yizhuang, Beijing, covers an area of 18,600 square meters and is equipped with a full-process automated production line that can produce thousands of high-end mobile phones a day and more than one million smartphones per year.
In addition, the second phase of the Xiaomi Smart Factory officially started construction in Changping District, Beijing in July this year. This is also the second smart factory that Xiaomi Group focuses on building, covering an area of 58,300 square meters, which will land the second-generation mobile phone intelligent production line containing SMT patch, board testing, assembly, machine testing, and finished product packaging, and is expected to produce 10 million smart phones per year, with an output value of about 60 billion yuan.
