CCTV unveils Xiaomi smart factories: the vast majority of them have achieved automated production

December 18 news, Xiaomi today published a Weibo said that the CCTV financial channel "Economic Half Hour" recently went to explore the Millet smart factory, where most of the production processes have been automated production.

It is reported that the first phase of xiaomi smart factory in Yizhuang, Beijing, covers an area of 18,600 square meters, equipped with a whole process automation production line, which can produce thousands of high-end mobile phones a day and produce more than one million smart phones every year.

The second phase of Xiaomi Smart Factory officially started construction in Changping District, Beijing in July this year. This is also the second smart factory focused on the construction of Xiaomi Group, covering an area of 58,300 square meters, which will land the second-generation mobile phone intelligent production line containing SMT patches, board testing, assembly, machine testing, and finished product packaging, and is expected to produce 10 million smart phones per year, with an output value of about 60 billion yuan.

In addition to the above, it is expected that in 2023, a super factory with an annual output of 10 million units will also be officially put into operation. Xiaomi said that it will continue to work hard, seek speed steadily, and promote digital transformation and upgrading.
