On December 17, the Yan Lugong-Wu Zehao Exhibition opened at the Dezhou Art Museum, the first stop of the exhibition, which lasted for seven days and will last until December 23. The works in the exhibition are the results of Wu Zehao's new creation in 2021 to tell the story of Yan Zhenqing's life and calligraphy art, with a total of more than 70 Chinese paintings and calligraphy works. At the opening ceremony, Wu Zehao donated a six-foot masterpiece "Plain Taishou Yan Zhenqing" to the Dezhou Art Museum.
"With a feeling of reverence for Yan Zhenqing, I spent more than half a year creating this series of works." Wu Zehao said.
It is understood that the more than 70 Chinese paintings and calligraphy works with Yan Zhenqing as the theme of this exhibition are the latest series he has completed, and the works vividly depict the life of Yan Lugong's "Wen Zhao WuLie, fighting with the sun and the moon", showing Yan Zhenqing's patriotic spirit of loyalty to the country and outstanding calligraphy artistic achievements, and is a group of fine works with both spiritual energy, cultural connotation and artistic value.
The reason why he chose Dezhou as the first stop of the exhibition was because Yan Zhenqing was too punctual in the plains when he was in office, and after the rebels of An Lushan Shi Siming had captured the Tang capital Chang'an, he still led 200,000 troops to fight against An Shi, defended the peace of Dezhou, and wrote a glorious chapter in the history of loyalty and love for the people. In addition, yan Jiming, his nephew Yan Jiming, who was stationed with his father at Changshan to fight against An Shi, sent a letter to Pingyuan when he was stationed at Changshan. Yan Lugong also left a thousand-year-old stele for Dezhou, "Oriental Shuo Painting Praise Monument". The plains county station of that year is now the Dezhou Lingcheng District.
