Ma Demin, whose name is Huaili, was born in Zouping City, Shandong Province in 1955 and has a university degree. He loves history, literature, calligraphy and painting. Literary works have appeared in newspapers and publications in nearly 100 articles'. His calligraphy works have been taught by Liu Maosheng, Lin Hongyu, Sun Lei and other famous artists, and have participated in national, provincial, municipal, and military exhibitions for many times, and won awards. He is a member of the Chinese and Provincial Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a member of the Provincial Calligraphy Association, a member of the Jinan Yinglian Association, a national first-class calligrapher, an executive director of the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association, the president of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of the University, and a director of the Shandong Traditional Culture Education Research Association. He was awarded the honorary titles of "National Culture and Art Communication Ambassador" and "Chinese Culture and Art Spokesperson" by relevant departments.
